This hotel is next to the train station. It is great for late arrivals and access to public transport. The restaurant was good. The gluten-free breakfast was miniature muffins and petit-pain. It was great. The hotel had a few games in the lobby for children.

There is no surprise about this Novotel, which offers the same average-looking rooms that any other train station Novotel around the globe. It is efficient but do not expect any charm. Close from the station yet really silent. Restaurant offers decent food. Neighbourhood is dull however and visitors planning a longer stay should definitely target a more central hotel.

The hotel is about 2-3 minutes walk from the train station - we initially missed it, because it has a small sign. It is next to the Athena hotel. If you came to the train station's parking, you went too far. We loved the location, quiet and very comfortable room of good size, and very nice and helpful people at... More

We've chosen this hotel for one night stay when travelling to the mountains for skiing. I thought that it shouldn't be bad, because this is Novotel, it is going to be just in the middle of everything. We were really surprised: perfect location, silent despite of the train station just in front of the back door, parking on the ground... More

The sleep quality in this hotel was excellent but there is a reason for this. We had arrived at 02.30 in the morning having been delayed for some 15 hours from Barcelona due to a fire in the southern France area which delayed all trains coming from all directions. Sadly, everything was too little and too late to enjoy this... More

Pretty standard Novotel, you know what you are getting. Good sized rooms, good wi-fi etc. Tried the food in the restaurant which was absolutely fine and the breakfast buffet also very good if a bit prices at €17. Probably better to nip around the corner to the main station for a coffee and croissant. Centre of the town is walkable... More

We are travelling to Italy by train, so a stopover in Lyon was a must. It was good to find a 4 star hotel nearby that provided a 'good' room for the night. My only complaints would be the bed was too close to the wall and no bath but it was okay for one night. Staff were very friendly,... More

Picked this Novotel as it's typically a safe bet. Located next to the main railway station there is a slightly unusual set up with the reception is on the first floor. Proximity to the station means people from 'all walks of life' roam around outside and security seemed to be very low profile. My room was 101 which had a... More

The hotel is well located but the parking is very difficult to find. Access to the hotel from the car park to reception with baggage is quite difficult with narrow stairwells, crossing a busy taxi feeding rank and then entering the building with solely one elevator. Given that a busload of tourists had arrived moments before, we took another 4... More

One of a selection of hotels suggested by organisers of a recent conference, this hotel was an huge disappointment. During a week long heatwave the air conditioning wasn't functioning adequately and not at all in the foyer and restaurant. The safe didn't work in my first room and not in the next so used hotel safe. Room tiny, no bedside... More
