This hotel is perfect if you want to live in the centre of Lyon. It is just a few minutes walk to the nearest metro station and almost an overflow of restaurant and shops close by. The service is quick and professional. The breakfat is not very big, but it contains everything you need.

Checkin/checkout: friendly and knowledgeable staff Room: it is a disgrace to call yourself a four star hotel with the type of bedroom offered, molded carpet, see through curtain, microscopic shower, terrible bed Breakfast: I checked it out, but it was so unappealing that I decided to take my breakfast elsewhere Overall: I stayed with my parents in Lyon like every...

The hotel location was great just some steps to Place Bellacour, shopping attractions and close to metro also. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful. Good value for money. Lobby is average but it's OK. Thanks to everybody

Superb rooms, public areas, and location. However, the staff takes the hotel to the next level with impeccable service and attention. From the moment of check-in until check-out, they stay focused on confirming your comfort during your stay. Business brings my to Lyon a few times a year, and my first choice is always the Globe et Cecil.

Globe et Cecil is perfect for the independent traveller. It is quiet, well located and staffed by helpful, friendly professionals. A few simple improvements with the breakfast, in particular the bread and the coffee and it would be 10 out of 10. For me it is as near the perfect hotel as it is possible to get.

This hotel has a great location in the center of Lyon, from there you can walk everywhere. It is small and quiet, with a very friendly staff and is a very good value. They arranged a car to take us to the airport, and the driver actually took our luggage to the check-in counter, quite impressive. Would definitely stay there...
