Positives: Location Excellent. Bed quality excellent. Friendliness of management excellent. Cleanliness excellent. The price I paid for my room (January) I would describe as "on a low budget" - so I did not expect perfection from the hotel. I stayed on the top floor (floor 6) -

When a Louis Vuitton store is right next door, you know you are at the centre of all things! All the best attractions and the Metro station are in a walking distance, lots of restaurants around. The hotel itself is very basic, the elevator starts on the first floor, so lots of

The Elysée is a simple hotel in the center of Lyon. We had a double room with a private bathroom, and we felt it was adequate for a business trip. The location is on the peninsula between the Rhone ans Saone rivers with easy access to the subway/metro to the Perrache train

This is the last night in France and we just needed somewhere to stay before we flew home. Hotel has a great location. It is VERY hot here so AC was very welcome. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful and English was appreciated. Room is clean. We had a triple. Only

Decent and comparatively inexpensive for the city center area. Rooms were comfortable (but also a little small, owing to the building’s narrowness) and the TV, Wi-Fi, etc work fine, so if you just need a nice place to say and want to be close to the action — 5 minutes’ walk from

Allow for more than that - The hotel is in the centre of the city, the airport on the far edges so you must take the Rhone-expess small red train to get you to the centre it takes about 40 minutes but runs on a schedule so if you miss one?? Also once you get to the centre of town it's another 15 minutes to the hotel so we took a taxi from there. About 20 euros but on our way to the airport the next day we couldn't be bothered and took a taxi from the hotel straight to the airport that was about 70 euros but made sense if you are more than one person. There is a metro too but you take the Rhone-express get off at the second stop and then take Line A to get you to Place bellcourt and that is 1 minute from the hotel. The airport info desk can give you more info too but feel free to PM me if you have questions, I go often, Lyon is amazinG!
