Good little hotel located in a good spot for exploring Lyon. It doesn't look very big from the outside, but interior corridors do a surprising amount of winding around, so there are more rooms than it first appears. The rooms are basic, no frills, but clean. Location could not been better for exploring the city. Walking distance to major sightseeing places: Vieux Lyon, Place des Terreaux, Croix-Rousse hillside... Hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, yet at first a bit shabby area with so many graffiti everywhere, but they seem to be everywhere in the city (wonder why??) The one big down side to this hotel in my opinion is one that you can't really ignore when you get out of the taxi and survey it. From outside it looks like a shop window in Amsterdam. The painted red frame and the light-up sign do make you wonder whether you booked the right place... But inside it is... More

We spent two nights at this **-Hotel (family with two teenagers). One room (nr 30, one double bed) overlooking the street and sunny (and noisier at night), one room (nr 11, one double and one single bed) towards the court-yard, darker but quieter. I loved the hotel St Vincent right in the Saone in Lyon in the perfect location right across the river and overlooking the old town section of Lyon. Close to loads of Bouchon and amazing meals. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful. The rooms were very cute in an old stone wall building. Very clean and comfortable.... More

The friendly service was evident from the start, large roomy room with character, as the hotel building is likely 700 years old. Close to everything, including a number of small quality restaurants. And the price was reasonable. Only negative is the lack of an elevator but the man at the reception insisted in carrying our luggage up to the room... More

I stayed here with a friend during the week with a friend. It was basic, no elevator, but great location--close enough to visit Vieux Lyon via the passerelle, walking distance to the city hall, the Metro and Opera, with helpful staff. It was inexpensive for Lyon, with free wifi, and a 6 EUR continental breakfast..

The hotel is located at river crossing (Saone) of the Vieux Lyon and a oncentration of most of the Bouchon Lyonais, historical attractions, near the opera. Old historical building under renovation with excelent staff and service.

It's a quirky old building in a great location. The rooms are quite basic and the sound proofing is not very good but overall not at all bad and helpful, friendly staff. Near to some nice little squares for coffee and ice cream and some decent little restaurants.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights recently and were very happy with this hotel, given its price bracket relative to typical hotel prices in Lyon which tend to be pricey. Its wow factor, in my opinion, has to be the location, just off the Quai St vincent, a stones throw from a pedestrian bridge to the old... More
