Clean room, good bed, friendly people, no doubt about that, but it felt like stepping back 50 years in time. I guess the owner started the hotel around 1965 and never changed anything in the years after. Breakfast is very basic. If you don't have high standards you'll be OK in this hotel. Location city center.

We stayed here for one night.Basic but clean accommodation. This is an old hotel and is a classic. The room we had on the 4th floor was quiet. The bed was cotton bedding and very comfy. The bathroom was roomy and airy. The view out of the bathroom window was exciting. The snow topped mountains towering over the city and the wonderful street below. We didnt have...

must have been a great place once upon a time in good old days ! It still is probably one of the best located places in the Centre of Grenoble. The Old city looks beautiful with the streets and avenues still wearing the old classy look. The Hotel is just basic but clean the biggest advantage is the Tram station...

If you do not care for dogs, this is not the hotel for you. A large one patrols the reception area for most of the day, and barks at new arrivals before revealing a more friendly side to his character. A small one occupies a breakfast table (yes, he sits on it), looking out the window and barking at passers-by....

One great advantage of this hotel is its location - close to the railway station and to the Old Town. Grenoble is generally a nice place to walk around, plenty of little shops and bars/bistros in those narrow side streets. It feels like you go back to the '60s when you enter the hotel - dated decor, dark corridors, carpets...

Well, we walked into the room and I said, "is this place haunted by the ghost of Don Johnson?" My husband said, "more like Don Knotts". It was clean and affordable. You have to turn the hall lights on every time you get to your floor. It was too dark to see the lock without it. And yes they have...

Not much has been changed for last 50 years in this antiquated place, but its ok for a stopver. Bed was actually comfortable. Price could be a bit lower, but its France anyway and location in Grenoble is good. The avenues on both sides of the hotel are noisy, but I slept well. If you want better quality, pay more...

The Hotel was in a very convenient central location, was friendly, had a clean bed, an own shower and was cheap compared with others. It is THAT kind of old French Hotel with a bar/cafe underneath, close to railway stations that has been like that forever I am sure! There must have been smoking in the room for years because smoke...

I was in Room 6. Too much street noise. Bathroom was okay. Room did not feel clean. Bedcover was soiled. Sheets didn't appear to have been changed. Following day I noticed red spots on my arms and right thigh. Within 24 hours these bites (15 of them) had swollen and were itchy.
