Great location, Car park 200m from the hotel. This is a family run hotel, now part of the Accor group, but this brings out the best of both worlds. The staff are excellent, really make you feel at home. The rooms are really nice, very quiet, ultra clean. You get a very good night's sleep even if they could do a little better with the pillows. Our stay didn't get of to a good start, we arrived at 21h30 on a Friday nigh, asked if we could have dinner but were told no because they had "run out of food" ! They told us we could have food delivered via Uber Eats or room service but only with cold starters, no main courses. This seemed crazy, but we reluctantly chose the latter and had room service, I must say it was an excellent choice, not cheap but wonderful food and a good glass of wine. Breakfast is a solid 9/10 Never mind the disappointing start, the staff and quality of the hotel made up for everything. If you are in Grenoble this is a great place to stay.…
It was bliss to come in from the mid August heat to the cool of this hotel. Our classic room was very clean, spacious and equipped with upmarket touches. We loved the walk-in closet. The housekeeping was of a very high standard. The free wifi was reliable. The staff on the front desk were welcoming and unfailingly helpful. We had breakfast on our final day and there was a good range of choices available from the buffet. The area is mainly residential and despite having a street view room, we weren't bothered by noise. There's a large park opposite and it is possible to walk into the Old Town. The tram stop is currently being upgraded, but the Albert 1er stop is a short walk away and is close to local shops for essentials (e.g. Carrefour city). The system is easy to use and connects to the Gare. We were informed in advance that the restaurant in the hotel was closed and sent a helpful range of restaurant recommendations of various types and prices.…
Third time I have stayed at The Park, as always staff are friendly, very professional and helpful. Rooms are clean and well presented. Unfortunately resteraunt was closed for holidays however the hotel did supply lots of other dining options locally before I arrived. Breakfast was available and selection varied delicious and excellent. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.
A pleasant hotel, right downtown. Parking is expensive. Lacks a proper dining room, but there is a room service menu. Excellent breakfast. The Wi-Fi system in the hotel is very old and uses insecure technology. The internet connection itself is very slow. Windows in the room are filthy on the outside and badly need to be cleaned. For €100 a night, it's OK. I would not pay more.
Spent three nights here recently and had a lovely time. The rooms were really nicely designed, quiet and the bathroom facilities were great. Breakfast in the hotel was just right. The hotel is small, approximately 40 rooms, but this gives it a nice cozy feel. Parking isn't always available but on-street parking nearby is reasonably priced. The gym and hamam are modest but don't let that put you off. A great value stay in a lovely property.
+ Quiet, good sized room, excellent bathroom. Breakfast above average. - Not brilliant attention to detail, cleaning away plates, cleaning of room. All coffee from machine tasted of Hot Chocolate. A little way from real centre of town, but good tram connections.
We stayed at the Park Hotel for 2 nights in early October 2021. The propoerty is well located just a few minutes walk from the historic center and on a nice park. The building looks like a condominium of apartments from the 40-50s in which the hotel was built. Lobby, common areas and dining room are very well furnished with a pleasant classic-modern theme. Our classic room was quite spacious and very comfortable and well equipped with a nice bathroom and free minibar (water and 1 coke), as well as a coffee / tea maker. Really rich and abundant breakfast for every taste. Staff is really kind, always available and took really good care of our requests with great professionalism both before and during our stay. Overall a great stay.
Great hotel. Good service: the staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful rooms well equipped. Complimentary beverages. Excellent toiletries offered. Shower and towels are great. Bed is soft. Room is not very big though. Super clean bathroom, tables and wardrobe. Not sure about the cleanness of the moquette though. Position is not super central but in 2 tram stops you are downtown. Dining scene in the neighborhood is not top. Better to go downtown. Breakfast good (excellent viennoserie; coffee ok; cheeses good; basic bread; good eggs but the sausages were a bit spicy for breakfast). The fire alarm went off for an issue on another floor (apparently something to do with steam). Good to know the alarm works, but wish they replied from the central desk when I called, just to know what was the issue. Corridor doors close when the alarm goes off so we were locked out in the hallway. There is complimentary wifi as well but it doesn’t charge pictures for some reason.…
Stayed here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by what a lovely hotel this was - its modern but cosy. Very friendly, attentive staff. Clean, great service, good food, nice bar area, within walking distance of everything, fantastic in-room toiletries and the most comfortable bed ever!
I was unable to get into the corporate recommended hotel for my conference as they were all full. I chose the Park Hotel randomly. I am so glad I did, lovely and quiet, staff very helpful and friendly, especially the lady on the check in desk when I arrived, perfect english. breakfast very good. I liked the motion activated lights - cool when you are half asleep
