We paid for the accommodation up front in February. Pierre & Vacances are now refusing refunds having closed. The airlines and hirer companies have all refunded. If you're looking for accommodation next season I would recommend some of the more trustworthy providers.

I have booked in October a renovated apartment in Les Chalets du Forum property, after a good experience with P&V in Avoriaz. We have explicitly opted and paid for a renovated 2-bedroom apartment. And remember, this is supposed to be a premium type of residence. Unfortunately upon arrival we were very frustrated to find a shabby apartment, which perhaps had some minor design upgrades, but seriously lacks in many aspects: dirty and stained carpet, stains on the walls, dirty drawers, old and shabby kitchen, and the view...you would never expect to come in a premium ski residence and have a direct and very close view to the wall/roof of the Forum. Btw, check in starts at 5pm, if you want an early check in you have to pay 50 eur, and if you want to choose a better view you have to pay another 150eur (which was impossible in our case since the hotel was full). Should I have known in advance what was coming, I would have paid another 150 eur...The most annoying thing however is the fact that we have not received the apartment category that we have paid for. We have formally complained to P&V three days ago, so far no response. I just called the call center and the operator could not help in any way. I’m seriously considering to report this to the relevant consumer protection agency in France. I am attaching also some photos, so that you can see for yourselves this premium and renovated apartment.

I’ve made a reservation trough booking, payed 1300 eur for the room. When I came the room was not clean, full of garbage, sheets and towels on the floor. After I refused to stay, the not only refused to get a refund but also changed 1000 euro extra because I didn’t return them the key.

- centric location - well equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances - bath room was not clean!!! (bathtub borders!!!) - nicely decorated, but not ideal for 4-5 people- - ideal size 2-3 persons - friendly and helpful staff at the reception - we stayed two weeks and after one week there was a maintenance service, change of sheets etc. (although bathtub stayed dirty (black fungus borders on the bath tub)

Yes, it is all about location; close to skiing, shopping and restaurants the residence is an excellent venue for the most amazing and largest skiing domain in the world. This is my 22nd year in the area, and due to the Marie one of the best! Service in France can be polite, rude or helpful; she was charmingly willing to make our séjour special. Merci, Marie!
