The hotel is a charming, classic luxury alpine resort. It is well situated within distance of restaurants, shopping, ski lifts and other activities that were arranged by the courteous and professional hotel staff such as dog sledding, hot air ballooning, helicopter tours and daytrips to adjacent villages such as Megeuve. The hotel restaurant itself was very nice (serving european fair)...

We ended up not staying here but did hand out there at the lounge and the restaurant and checked out the rooms; Classic décor and beautifully done rooms; a bit too stuffy for our taste; the rooms do not have views but are spacious;

This property might have once been a good place to stay. It is now a "fixer upper" - unless the owners stop thinking about squeezing every last penny out of it and actually invest some money, it will be just that. For the 2300 per night that I paid, it would expect an experience of a different caliber. NOT a...

Staff and Flavien the manager are so helpful...cannot do enough to make your stay special. The room was beautiful and location of hotel perfect. Food was also delicious. I left some clothing behind and they immediately posted it back to me in the UK. I would not stay anywhere else!!

Just back from a three night stay at Le Saint-Joseph hotel in Courchevel 1850 on a bed and breakfast basis. Perfectly located next to the piste and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Our rooms were out of this world. Room 204 and 207 suites were amazing. Huge beds - sitting area, mini bar, 2 tv's, WiFi, huge bathroom...

It was the second time we were staying at Le Saint Joseph for a week with two kids, and we booked two ensuite rooms with large bathrooms. The service is absolutely perfect, everyone always happy to help you for any kind of request. I can testify that kids are very welcome, and kids will love the breakfast buffet. The rooms...

Dined here with 2 others and we all reached the same conclusion that although the quantities were "ski-sized", the quality left something to be desired. Moreover, the cost was rather exaggerated. We did not appreciate that when you order a somewhat dry, pan fried, breaded veal escalope (that was the only item on the plate) priced at 25 Euros, the...

My wife and I visited San Marco on our first night in beautiful Courchevel 1850. The restaurant is located in an attractive location (where is not attractive in Courchevel!?) just round the corner from the our hotel (le pomme de pin) and so on our way home after a few drinks in the town we chose to San Marco for...

We stayed at Le Saint Joseph in February 2007. It is a lovely hotel in a great location in terms of access to the piste but I wouldn't stay there again. If you choose to stay at Le Saint Joseph, avoid room 103. Room 103 is very nice but it was ridiculously hot. As a result, we wanted to leave...

This is a lovely hotel in a great location in the centre of 1850, 1 min walk from the lifts. The rooms are lovely - big for a ski resort, and beautifully furnished. The food is the best in Courchevel in my view. The bar is also wonderful. This would have got 5* had it not been for the snooty...
