Gorgeous and huge apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay that balances contemporary fittings, cozy furnishings, and lots of space. The beds are amazing but the bluebird skies lured us to the first lifts! There's a ski shop next to reception and a concierge service to take you to the lodge right at the Croisette lift where the friendly team are there to buckle your boots and take them off again at the end of the day. The reception team couldn't be more friendly and helped us with everything from valet parking (under the building) to recommendations and restaurant bookings. And the spa! We skied the final few runs knowing we'd be straight down to the sauna and steam room. The Normatec compression boots are a must try, as are the sports massages to get your legs ready for the next day. The rooms are completely quiet at night even though you're right in the heart of Courchevel 1850 with everything accessible on foot. For non-skiers, a pedestrian lift pass gives you access to gondolas and lifts all over the Three Valleys so you don't even need to ski to meet up with up with the rest of your group to enjoy après-ski. Ask the team about the piste basher experience and the skidoo up to an Alpine hut for a Savoyard dinner too! We travelled as a group of friends but I would recommend this for families with kids too - the ease of the ski concierge (who can book lessons etc) and lodge means you have an extra pair of hands!

'Dear Jessica, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! It's great to hear that you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the contemporary facilities, comfortable furnishings and ample space. It's also wonderful to know that the beds were comfortable, and that the location was perfect to access the ski lifts. I am glad to hear that the team at the reception was friendly and helpful in making your stay memorable. The ski rental store, the concierge service and the proximity to the ski lift all sounds like great amenities that enhance the overall experience. The spa and its amenities, including the Normatec compression boots and sports massages, sound like a great way to relax and recover after a long day on the slopes. Thank you for sharing the tips about the pedestrian pass and the possibility to experience a traditional Savoyard dinner at an Alpine Cabin. Great to hear the concierge service was helpful to organise this memorable experience for you. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, and we hope to have the opportunity welcome you back in the future.' Thanks! Warm Regards, Andre Ferreira Residences Manager

We had a beautiful, cosy stay at the quaint residence. Located in the heart of Courchevel centre, it may not be ski in -ski out..but they have a dedicated Ski chalet with assistance for guests right at the ski lift. So after renting your gear it's kept at the ski chalet for daily use and you are dropped off my the shuttle service if required. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and microwave..Carrefour supermarket is literally on the doorstep. The amazing Concierge team, Karim and Tibot especially are wonderful with suggestions and ideas, they made sure we were able to try a different restaurant every night. The breakfast (served daily at Sumosan) boasts a healthy variety of choices from granola and fruit to kid favourites like nutella and waffles. Sumosan is a the new Japanese restaurant which comes to life at night with a brilliant party atmosphere. Hubbly bubbly or shisha is also offered here in the evening. The rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. We visited other 5 star hotels to compare and consider for next time however for families with young children the Six Senses Spa wins best hotel stay in courchevel 1850.

Despite the slopes and lifts in Courchevel were not open, we decided to return to one of our favorite places for skiing. This was our second stay at the Six Senses Residence Courchevel and the service was perfect as always. Andre, the Head Concierge was arranging Raclette Dinners for us, as well a dog sledding tour and some ski tour activities. It was definitely a different winter experience than in the years before but the Six Senses Courchevel its worth a trip to the French alps.

You have a very beautiful hotel and the rooms are very tastefully decorated but there were some very disappointing aspects.
The breakfast was poor, selection was limited, no fruit was offered, the juices were not fresh, the bread selection was not what I would expect of a luxury hotel. I’m shocked that we had to pay for hot foot which was fairly bland anyway! Having stayed in many luxury hotels the breakfast was the very worst I have ever experienced. Even the croissants were bad which in France is not acceptable, we had to buy fresh ones from the bakery in town.
The service was terrible. Our two bedroom apartment had no hairdryer when I asked for one it took over four hours to arrive in my room! There was no wine opener in the room when we asked for one it was delivered and was a substandard version that broke when I opened the bottle of red wine. There was no body lotion available in the room again not what I would expect.
The staff at reception were not great and the concierge was pretty rude - consistently. Then regarding other staff - One morning I stood by the desk whilst your staff chatted and I was ignored for nearly 5 minutes!

Dear Mrs Alexander, We thank you for having shared your feedback from your stay with us at Six Senses Courchevel. Thank you for complimenting the decoration of our rooms but we are truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your experience. We are happy to report that following your review, we have shared your comments with our restaurant managers to enhance our breakfast selection and to improve the overall quality delivered. Service is one of our top priorities and we are sorry to see that we obviously did not live up to your expectations. Your comments have been passed on to our Front Office Manager and Head Concierge. In the meantime, we hope that you will consider another try and return at Six Senses Courchevel. Kind regards, Justin

Stayed 7 nights from 5th Feb in a two bed apartment. Seating was tight so we brought in a balcony chair. Dishwasher didn't work until day 6 in spite of our requests. Towel rails did not work and were never fixed. Delivered Breakfasts were so large that we threw most of it away and asked for less to be delivered, didn't stop it coming. Over charged massages but relented when I was able to show actual prices on their own App. Valet driver who was over fast in every thing he did, including skidding us violently around a corner in the van, badly damaged a previously unmarked alloy wheel on our vehicle. The staff admitted they had heard about the damage but the manager refused to acknowledge it or the racey valet driver who staff said " had a reputation". Refused to pay for damage. Really really poor customer service from what is supposed to be an internationally fabulous chain of luxury accommodation. Make sure you get your car checked before you give it to them would be my advice if you don't want a huge bill on top of your holiday. Having started out well we ended up being really disappointed and it marred our holiday.

We spent a week with my family in Six Senses residence hotel. We had a great experience - the Team was very helpful and friendly, the support from concierge was great, the location of the hotel is top, the room and SPA facilities are also super and there is a great flexibility in either cooking the food yourself (grocery store is 1 min from the hotel) or going out to restaurants or booking deliveries from many options with restaurants with the support of the concierge. We liked the hotel a lot and would be very glad to come back next winter season!

We were very excited to be staying at the Six Senses in Courchevel as we saw it being built during our previous stays and also had very nice experiences in other Six Senses properties around the world. Unfortunately, this Six Senses did not live up to the brand nor our expectations.
From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, it was a confusing and disappointing experience. I will not list all the issues with Six Senses, but a couple of noteworthy problems are worth highlighting:
1) The broken light above dining table required five calls and four days to get fixed.
2) We requested a 2nd key (you are allotted two per residence). We never received it.
3) Breakfast was disappointing at best and left uneaten on most days. Breakfast is brought to your room between 7:30 to 8:00 in a brown paper bag (does not always happen during this time).
4) Inexperienced staff: the staff did not know answers to basic questions.
5) The entire check-in process at Six Senses was very confusing and not welcoming. We did arrive early and was told that we would be informed when the room was ready. We were never informed. We checked in at 17:00. The receptionist was eager to leave and did not show us how everything worked in the room.
While I really like Six Senses the brand and its properties, I cannot recommend this property. It has too many flaws. I did email the general manager prior to submitting this review, but have not heard anything from him.

Amazing! The residence is very elegant and comfortable. From the very beginning you feel at home, with all the services of a luxury hotel. Everything is home automation, you can control the temperature of the house, you can play music in every room with your personal spotify in your mobile, etc. The entry of the residence is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the stuff you'll need. We stayed in an apartment with three perfect and big rooms, each one with its own bathroom fully equipped. Also it has a big balcony with amazing views of the snowy mountains.
The staff of the hotel is so sweet, kind and helpful. They always attend our questions with a nice smile.
The hotel is perfectly located, you can walk everywhere, also to the ski slopes which is a walk distance. It is near by so many good restaurants and of the top of the best Shushi in town, Sumosan. Honestly, one of the best experiences of our lives. Recommended 100%.

It doesn't worth staying anywhere else in Courchevel than Six Senses Residence.
We used to come to Courchevel for more than 10 years and we finally found the best place to stay.
Luxury apartment, spa and facilities very clean and relaxing, the ski-lodge on the slopes made us feel like we were staying in a ski-in/out hotel.
And the cherry on the cake is the kindness and the disposition of the whole staff who made our stay very special.
Highly recommended!!!

I enjoyed my time at Six Senses Courchevel very much. The apartment was large and very well appointed with a fantastic view towards the beautiful mountains. A tremendous view!
The Spa facilities and the treatment offer were really nice and the therapist delivered a really comfortable massage. I was hooked from the beginning.
The team members are indeed very friendly and the shuttle service delivered by their Concierge team works perfectly, fast and reliable every time. These employees are extremely kind and personal.
I also enjoyed a very good Japanese meal at the residences so overall it was a wonderful experience and I do recommend to try this residences hotel. I will return next year again to Six Senses! BRAVO and THANK YOU!
