My girlfriend and myself had the chance to spend one night at Les Chalets de Philippe. It was a fantastic experience from the reservation till the check out. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We rented the Chalet Clarine and could enjoy the fantastic location, and the outdoor jacuzzi. The chalet is well decorated and well equiped (nespresso... We loved our time at Les Chalets de Philippe! We stayed in Les Clarins chalet and loved the perfectly cozy (and tiny) set up. We enjoy cooking and made a few of our own meals and found the kitchen to be well equipped for our needs. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided by the staff. The setting is gorgeous and... More

Wow, what an experience. The day we arrived the newspaper told us that Kylie Minogue, Sophie Marceau etc. stayed here. There's some list of the top 8 hotels in the world and this is one of them. So you know you are in for something special. It's a bunch of charming chalets close together with short charming pathways separating them.... More

I stayed in two different Chalets over a 4 day period. A friend had recommended the place because it was unique and beautiful; the owner was charming and accommodating and the food was excellent. This all proved to be vaste understatement. One of the chalets was intimate in the style of a mountain chalet wirth period antiques and all the... More

My husband and I loved everything about Philippe's Chalets. The windy paths with a sweet delight around every corner, the petite chalet that was, no doubt, tiny but more than comfortable and incredibley charming and cozy. The outdoor hot tub as snowflakes fall on your tongue. Champagne before dinner on the comfy couches in the communal area. Insanely delicious food.... More

This is probably the hardest review that I have had to write. Chalet Phillipe is not a conventional skiing retreat and will not be for everyone. It is beautiful as a hamlet of 500 year old cottages that ooze character. The location is delightful and with good snow allows a ski to the door experience. My first impressions were mixed,... More

These chalets are truly a work of art and a labor of love. Philippe hand designs all of his chalets and each one is unique. I have never been anywhere in my life where so many details were considered. Not only do you have all the amenities of a five star hotel, you have beautiful antiques and hand crafted details... We were told how great this restaurant was and had to try it. Wonderful food. Adequate (not big, not small portions) of haute cuisine. We had to ask for our wine as did another couple at the communal table where you are seated with the other guests of the evening. The service was not very attentive. We were told the... More

We arrived road weary and needing rest. What a fantastic place to do so. Though the weather was cold and damp in mid-May, the staff made sure our needs were taken care of. Dinner was an exquisite experience...we were the only guests that first day and we felt well taken care of. Delectable food carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Worth... More

This was my 4th time in Chamonix and probably the best hotel experience I've had there so far. My wife and I stayed in one of their beautiful luxury chalets and it was a unique experience. Everything was clean and spotless. We had our own private hot tub. The food at the hotel was great and staff was pleasant and... More
