Spotlessly compact studio apartment. Wonderful views close to everywhere. Well equipped kitchen, everything you need. Bus stop to all ski areas 2 min walk just around the corner . Some really nice local restaurants close to hand too.

I stayed in an apartment for 4 and found it to be just what I needed whilst I was doing a training course. Sometimes it was noisy outside during the night - I put in ear plugs! This also was because the window seemed old and draughty, letting in all the noise from the street. Everything else about the room was good for the price. One other problem I had was with the ski room. It was lovely to go into a ski room not packed with people, but unfortunately as it was so quiet the light would automatically turn off just when I was in the middle of putting on my boots, and I had to fumble my way to the door to re-switch it on again! What was very good was the welcome and friendliness/helpfulness at reception. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

Five minutes walk from Chamonix Sud bus station where all the ski buses stop. Ski Set Aiguille du Midi ski hire, bookable through Pierre Vacances 10 mins away. You can book lift pass through Pierre Vacances also. Studio is clean, balcony, ok no oven but there is a decent microwave, 2 ring hob, dishwasher and adequate kitchen stuff. I rented a studio. Pull down main bed very comfortable in main room. Door separates two bunk beds from main room. Studio ideal for a couple or two friends. Very efficient and pleasant staff. Ski locker easy to access as its first floor level next to entrance. Noisy - ok occasionally, but skiers are not nuns, be reasonable tell them to be quiet come midnight and they do shut up. In the whole week there was only one occasion when I had cause to ask someone to be quiet. Overall a great experience from 11to 18 January 2020. Skiing bloody fabulous and Pierre Vacances Riviere Apartments location makes everything easy if skiing is your passion and for the summer again its five mins from the centre of town. For shopping one word of caution make the effort to walk the 15 mins to the Carrefour Supermarket, the nearest supermarket The Spar in Place Edmond Desailloud is an absolute rip off !! For example Malongo Coffee in Spar Euro 5.35 in Carrefour Euro 3.30. And that goes for just about every product in the Spar. As we say in English the Spar is taking the pisse! Enjoy, have fun and love Chamonix!

Good, but a little expensive for what it is. An oven (not only microwave) and a hair drier would be nice. The cleanliness also could be better. The location is very good, but car parking is limited and the website does not mention you should book car parking, nor gives you any links to do so. There are good ski equipment storage places by the entrance and personnel were helpful and professional. Overall it was very good, but these were rather expensive holidays.

Too much noise from surrounding apartments. Late night (midnight/1am) moving of furniture on floors above, music, singing etc. Totally understand it for New Years eve but was like that for all 4 days we stayed. Not ideal when you have young children and want to get some sleep for an early start to skiing the next morning. Reported it to staff but not sure if anything was done as late night noise did not stop. Excellent location for access to nearby supermarket, take-aways, restaurants and bars. Town centre is only a few minutes walk away and main bus stop, for shuttle bus to the main ski areas, is only 2-3 minute walk away. Friendly helpful staff.
