Voted very good due to price! I stayed for 2 nights after climbing mont blanc and have no regrets. The staff were friendly and the bed and room were nice. The only slight issue i had was being able to access the hostel, although that's probably on me. I could not get in before 4pm on any of the days...

Don't be fooled with Vagabond's advertising (sandwich board outside & posters both on the bar & in the rooms) of cheap rooms: it's one price because you must take the breakfast (even if you have to leave before it's served) and you have to pay for linens (even if you have your own sheet liner). The wifi only works if...

Had a wonderful stay at le Vagabond, loved the atmosphere and the people. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was a great time to talk to people and figure out plans for the day by talking to the owner. She took a very personal interest in each visitor, and anticipated our needs at every turn. Minimal hostel facilities, but...

This is where it's at! Real people from travellers, holiday makers, returning guests, locals and ex-pats. I've stayed here 30+ times summer and winter; that says it there!! "Keeping it Real" in the bunk rooms, the extra comfort of the Brevent Room with friends or the "Hotel" feel of the Mont Blanc room with the Wife. All covered. And still...

I stayed here with a group of mates on a snowboard holiday and it was all and more you could ask for from a hostel. The rooms are great, the food was awesome and the staff are super friendly. AND THEY SERVE PERONI :-)

From the moment we arrived I knew my friend had picked a good place to stay. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and didn't smell of mountain boots and sweat! We had booked a two person room and it was small but very well appointed with large drawers under the bed for storage. The best part...

Stayed here for just one night, the room was as expected, a bunk house, but it was friendly, comfortable, the breakfast was included, it did the job at the right price. The only downside was the lack of hot meals apart from re-heated pies. The place is run on a shoe-string to give the guests the best value, and it...

Incredibly friendly and reasonably priced, 10 mins from Brevant lifts and serving really good evening meals, this is the perfect antidote to chalet life and ideal for a long (or short) weekend. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and create the ideal après environment. Well worth a visit for a few early drinks even if you're not staying there.

Stayed at Le Vagabond from 10th to 13th March 2015. Good location close to the South end of Town. 5 minute walk to ski bus (we had a car which is really needed for a short break in Chamonix if you want to use different ski areas each day) Staff were mostly Australian or English and very helpful and polite....

My dad and I stayed in the Gite le Vagabond Hostel for four nights from Tuesday until Saturday morning. On the Thursday afternoon the Hostel owner named Ella had an issue with four of the other people we travelled with where she threw their bags out the balcony window because they left them in the corridor. On the Friday morning...
