Lovely stay at this hotel, staff all lovely and very helpful despite travel republic messing up the booking so that the hotel had no choice but to change our room. Hotel is positioned right in the centre of town opposite a decent pub called 'the pub'. The rooms are old French style but very spacious with lovely views of the...

I stayed here with my son for a half term skiing holiday. This is a friendly family run hotel, oine of the first hotels to be bult in chamonix. It is in a brilliant location with views of Mont Blanc fromt he front of the hotel and dining room and view of the other mountains and Brevent cable car from...

That a place such as this still exists and thrives in such a prime location is a tribute to those that run it. No complaints as it is exactly what it says it on the tin. Simple accommodation, clean, prime spot in chamonix town centre, reasonable prices and they are very friendly. The only bad point was the breakfast, which...

This was my second stay at hotel richemond with my friend for a weekend ski break. We both absolutely love this hotel! The staff are on hand to give you advice and information about all available local activities. The ski bus stop is at the back of the hotel along with a safe and secure area to store your skis,...

We've been to Chamonix snowboarding six times in the last four years and stopped in hotels and apartments of differing grades and locations. This by far tops them all! If you want five star luxury with a swimming pool etc it's not for you. But if you want a fantastic location in a 100+ year french hotel steeped in history...

I stayed here from 28th Jan to 4th Feb 2017. A lovely family run hotel in the centre of Chamonix with an interesting history as it was the site of the first hotel in the village. Marvellous rooms, very clean with comfortable beds. The Room tv's had BBC 1, 2 & world news! Buffet breakfasts were something to look forward...

Having just returned Home from a 6 night stay at this hotel, I cannot fault it. It's situated right in the centre of Chamonix, it's clean, comfortable, warm with plenty of hot water for a bath or shower to sooth those aching limbs after a day on the slopes. The breakfasts are continental and plentiful and the staff do take...

If you're looking for a contemporary, refurbished hotel then you may be disappointed with Hotel Richemond. If you're looking for somewhere friendly, central and interesting, then you may be in luck. Three of us just returned from 4 nights here. We chose this hotel because of its central location (literally 1 minute walk to the bus stop, serving the entire...

We Stayed here for a week in January, I was trying to convince my wife she would enjoy trying skiing. No luck there, but we both enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Centrally based with easy access to shops, bars and restaurants plus bus and train services. It's not the Ritz, but still a lot of hotel for the money. No...
