Ideally situated near the cable car for access to the ski slopes in winter and walking/biking trails in summer, we have 19 comfortable ensuite bedrooms accessed by an elevator. Our lounge bar offers a cosy place to relax after a sporty day in the mountains and to perhaps be tempted by the classic french cooking of our head chef, Thierry and his team, in our Restaurant Rendezvous. The hotel has a sauna, drying room and ski storage with free wi-fi throughout and free parking. Since October 2017, we have also 2 apartments located in the heart of Chamonix for 5 & 7 persons. Don't hesitate to contact us to equire!

Firstly I want to say that I’m very sorry to the owners of the hotel for this review being so late - it goes back several years but the circumstances have been difficult. So, we booked Les Lanchers for a week however my father died unexpectedly and so I contacted the hotel to ask if we could move our week, given the circumstances. The hotel allowed us to change the dates free of charge, and having just lost my dad the kindness this showed was so overwhelming. The hotel itself was brilliant, a lovely intimate bar and brilliant food in the restaurant every night. The rooms are spacious and ours had a bath which was welcome after a day on the slopes, the loft for which is only 2 mins walk We loved our stay so much, and want to say a very belated thank you to the owners who really showed understanding at a difficult time in my life.

Very helpful and friendly staff, all speak English and some like if they are from England. They helped us with lift passes and a lot of info about the area. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony in the newer part of the hotel, which also had a bath. The scenery in that area is very nice so from the hotel you get some nice views of the mountains. The diner meals are really good. On Sundays a BBQ is used for the meals if the weather is OK. Breakfast is good, only the coffee is brewed. I would advice a bean machine during breakfast.

The hotel is very close to 2 busstations and also with a bicycle you can get around quickly. Chamonix is very close by.

We really had a good time there and we love to go back again!

Les Lanchers is a little gem· The location is great, easy access to the Flegere lift and the ski buss is right outside. Parking next to the hotel if your driving. The bar and restaurant are great, great breakfast and evening menus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned every day, ski deposit and boot room on ground floor. Lift access to 3 of the 4 floors.

Had two meals here last week. Both jolly delicious and lovely buzzy atmosphere. Rugby on TV was fun and the added bonus of free nibbles was a treat. Can really really recommend the Pizza. One of the best I’ve ever had!!

Friendly and informal feel. Excellent value and convenient for getting around the valley. The food was really tasty and the breakfast was generous. Great facilities for storing skis and drying kit. Really nice staff. Great bar for apres ski just across the road. Bus stops for all ski resorts directly outside the hotel.

Great location near the Flegère lift, clean and neat rooms, nice and cozy bar, friendly and hospitable staff. Restaurant serves decent French classics. Extra plus for a great background playlist! Will definitely be back.

Great location and friendly staff. Room (no.14) was pleasant and had a nice balcony, although no patio furniture on it so couldn’t sit out there. We were half board for a couple of days and the food was good. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My main issue was the bed was really hard, like concrete, which isn’t ideal after a day on the slopes. Bathroom was fine with a nice shower (over a bath). Slightly dated, but clean and functional.

Wonderful location near Flegere cablecar, magnificent personnel, friendly, efficient, and ready to fulfill the guests wishes. Tasty dishes, and a warm, cozy atmosphere, in the restaurant and the bar. Best place to be for skiing and enjoying the night after that.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights in September, on our way to Cannes, during our 9 days trip through France. The room was great, one of the best rooms we had in this trip, spacious, clean and nicely fitted. The restaurant served great meals and the service was great. It was really convenient after a long day to be able to have a drink and a nice dinner right on the premises, and then get into a nice and clean room. Having free parking in front of the hotel was also great and the price was excellent. We will definitelly stay here agai !

We stayed here for 10 days walking, having been twice before. The hotel has been extended and improved, but has lost none of its charm and friendliness. We had one of the new superior rooms (15). Huge, clean, very expensively fitted out. Loved the dinner-plate sized shower.

The older rooms are smaller, but cosy and clean. We stayed half-board which is great VFM, and superb quality. The new dining rooms have full height windows offering fantastic views of the Dru, Aiguille Vert and Aiguille sans Nom.

Great serve-yourself breakfast.

Easy free parking, 15 minute walk into Chamonix, bus stop just outside for the free Chamonix bus system. Good store 100 metres away for lunch supplies.

Answer from Camelia MURRAY
Dear Dan, We can do, can you contact us by e-mail, check out on internet for our contact, Tripadvisor doesn't allow us to write it here, it would be easier. We are Working with Mountain Drop Off, but we need your flight details, number of person traveling with you and your telephone number to receive the confirmation of your Pick Up at the airport. Awaiting for your e-mail Best regards Simon

Hi How far is it from your hotel to the Aiguille du Midi gondola please? Thanks Mark
Answer from Sergeyontheroad
London, United Kingdom149 contributions56 helpful votes
Hi Mark, Not exactly sure - I would say an 30-40 min by bus. During the high season the buses are quite good, so it's not the worst location for that. I would also double check the distance with googlemaps. But I can say that all lifts and gondolas are well connected by buses. Good luck!
