My wife and I stayed 6 nights at Provence Paradise in late August into September 2017. Our stay far exceeded our expectations as Le Orangerie was so very comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. Loved having breakfast on the terrace and swimming in the pool after a long day of touring. But the best part of the stay is the proprietor, William Moore. We arrived late afternoon on a Monday after a long day of travel from the US. William met us and showed us to our cottage, which he had fully stocked with food and beverage, even cannelloni, salad and rose wine for that evening. Every morning, fresh baked croissants showed up on the table. He was very interested in what we wanted to see and generously spent time going over the map of the area and helping us…
We loved our stay in Provence Paradise. It definitely lives up to it's name. We stayed in Le Nid (the nest) and it was very comfortable, and well equipped. William was a wonderful host, and really looked after us. We were greeted with a delicious full dinner, and wine. Every morning William brought us fresh chocolate, and other croissants. The refrigerator was stocked with all the basics. The pool and common area was a great place to relax after sightseeing. It was an easy walk to St. Remy de Provence, where there were all the charm, and amenities you could want. The location is a good central starting point for day trips to all of Provence.
This is a perfect retreat if you want to be alone , but still near a town with all the amenities of restaurants etc. We were on our honeymoon and had booked with the expectation of privacy and comfort combined. It was everything we had expected, the communication with the owners was excellent and we were met by William who immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. The accommodation is very private, with the use of the swimming pool and private secure parking. We were provided with a very welcome meal on our arrival and the fridge was well stocked for the week. With a daily bread delivery we wanted for very little.
If you typically prefer modern, sterile, 5 star luxury hotels, Provence Paradise is not for you. But, if you want to immerse yourself in the Provence experience there is no better place than Provence Paradise. We arrived around 7pm and still, William, the Proprietor, was waiting for us, ushered us in to our accommodations, poured us a glass of chilled Rosé and presented us with a lovely dinner of Cannolini, salad and bread. WOW! and that was just the first 1/2 hour. Our unit was La Tour built in 1630 and easily accommodated our family of 4 adults. It was an eclectic mix of antiques, books, wine, knickknacks that filled the senses much like Provence itself. We had everything we needed including shampoo in the showers and a washer/dryer. There were French doors that opened to a…
Our family of 4 stayed in L'Orangerie (kids ages 10 and 7) for 5 nights. After a long drive from Barcelona, we were thrilled to be greeted with a delicious dinner, an amazing cheese plate, and a fridge stocked with basics for the morning so we could just focus on relaxing and didn't have to worry about going to the store. William was out but had someone else let us in and she was lovely and helpful. The home was the perfect size and suited us perfectly. We enjoyed relaxing mornings on the terrace eating baguettes and croissants. William gave us great suggestions to entertain our whole family and the activities were hit with everyone. He helped us make a lunch reservation and a kayak reservation which was so helpful. The pool was great for the kids to play and the adults…
