We enjoyed our stay at this hotel the food was good but the price of wine or a drink was way to high. The problem is they know they can charge it because it is a long way from town once you get settled in. The grounds should be better taken care of also.

This is a 12th Century Abbey and is what you would expect. The room are quaint, if odd shaped and the corridors have low ceilings so you need to duck a lot. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, no problem with very good English spoken. The views from the patio are quite stunning, and the Hotel itself is... More

We fell in love with this place perched on a hill with spectacular views. We decided to hold our wedding and wedding festivities there. We had an amazing time and the staff could not have been more supportive from the wedding planner Emy Lebraud and the kitchen staff, bar staff and restaurant staff. We felt at home and very relaxed.... More

Lovely rooms, helpful staff and an amazing location. This was a return trip to celebrate a friend's retirement and the staff could not have been better. Truly my only criticism is that the price is high for the quality of the room.

We stayed five nights, accompanied by our labrador. We found the hotel very nice indeed. The location is lovely, and the room comfortable. I especially compliment the lovely staff: servers and people in reception. They are so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Whatever we asked for, they provided quickly and willingly.

As it says - a converted abbey with around 40 rooms. Walls are feet thick but rooms well equipped and comfortable. Inside public areas very atmospheric - outside views stretch for over 50kms in almost all directions - truly astounding Restaurant is good- again with views at night Staff are very helpful

We stayed for two nights in July during a 14 night Spanish/French road trip, in properties ranging from Relais & Chateaux/Michelin star to Campanile, so this review is relatively objective. We last visited some years ago, so the location/view was a given. The receptionist on arrival was pleasant and spoke sufficient English to make up for our very poor French,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Perched on the rocky outcrops of Salon-de-Provence, a tiny Provence town, which is ideally located to explore everything this delightful area has to offer, there is a tranquil spot where time would appear to have stood still. This 12th century abbey in the hearth of twenty hectares of Provencal gardens and garrigue offers spectacular views of the Alpilles Valley and the countryside surrounding Salon-de-Provence. The rooms still bear traces of the Cistercian monks who once occupied the abbey and boast a decor that blends charm and authenticity and provides a calm and restful atmosphere. You will be delighted with the hotel's attentive service and the culinary delights served in both restaurants which offer delicious dishes based on seasonal local ingredients. ... more   less
