The nhow Marseille, formerly known as NH Marseille Palm Beach, is situated in one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful bays and offers exceptional sea views. Cleverly built into the rocks, the hotel is both a wonderful setting for a holiday and one of the largest business meeting and events venues in Marseille. Staying here puts you within minutes of the beach and you’ll also be close to the Palais des Congrès de Marseille conference center. The hotel has 150 fresh, contemporary rooms. Most rooms face the sea and have their own balcony or terrace. Rooms for guests with limited mobility and family rooms are also available. Guests start the day with a generous buffet breakfast. For lunch and dinner, the hotel’s restaurant serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Snacks are also available in the hotel bar. For relaxation, you can have a relaxing swim in the seafront pool, open from May to October, or work out on the exercise machines in the gym.

Great location, best hotel pool in Marseille, pool scene is not great though as it appears to be a hangout for large groups of locals that take up a lot of chairs (all day) and make a lot of noise as though its their private pool club. Service is terrible throughout the hotel - front desk staff is weak and not at all attentive to guest needs, restaurant staff are equally as poorly trained and uninterested to serve the guests. Rooms are OK but nothing special though they are clean. Some rooms have great views of Med, others have none and they don't tell u anything about the hotel or your room when u check in at front desk. Front desk staff appear to be very poorly trained and mainly speak French and some not great at all. There are much nicer hotels in Marseille - I would not recommend this hotel to a friend nor would I stay here again on my next visit.

Good welcome by the front of house help, my car was whisked away promptly by the valet and parked, do note, if driving here, once you arrive at the hotel door, it is quite difficult to locate the entrance, not very well signposted.

Reception was a bit chaotic, but friendly. We were allocate better sea view room to what we had booked so that was a great plus.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. The whole hotel is a bit quirky and art deco like, we loved the deco and style of the place.

Hotel pool was excellent, salt water based so no chlorine smell, plenty of sunbeds and towels. The sea entrance could not be used due to the building of an Olympics 2024 building across the bay. So the view was a bit of a building site, which is not good

The Spa seemed good, but we were surprised that has to pay extra to sue the pool and saunsa facilities, something the hotel should make clear.

Very good breakfast in the morning. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food quality was excellent.

Our only gripe is the absolutely ridiculous catering policy of the hotel. The poolside menu is very limited and they have a even more limited bar menu and outside of meal hours menu in the restaurant. The rooms service menu cannot be availed of in the bar and outside food cannot be consumed anywhere but ones room. This limitation for a hotel which is a walk away from the nearest restaurants and bars is crazy and could mean patrons go hungry. Please look at thins nhow.... thank you

Overall would revisit and would like to thank all of the staff for a very nice stay.

We stayed for two nights. We picked a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean which was really nice. The interior of the hotel is quite colorful and quirky with a few nice spots to just hang around. The pool has a nice size and great location next to the ocean. There is a direct access to the ocean from the hotel but the sand didn’t look very appealing and a bit dirty which was unfortunate.

We had dinner at the hotel once. It was good but certainly a bit overpriced (you pay for the ocean view for sure). Service in general was a bit slow and you had to wave down the waiters for attention.

The hotel has an online page and app you can use to view all the hotel services while staying. It is a good concept but we ordered breakfast in our room and it didn’t work.

There was a food truck at the pool during the day and outside the hotel in the evening. The team running the truck was very friendly, the pizza was very tasty and had a fair price. We really enjoyed having some pizza on our balcony and watching the sunset.

The hotel on the corniche offers a different alternative than most options in Marseille. Its very modern interior design intrigues a t first sight but provides a comfortable stay. Rooms and bathrooms are tip-top clean and bright. Pool is well maintained (salt electrolysis) and very pleasant. Restaurant 'Les Bains' offers a small choice but daily special were excellent as well as the 'couteaux' (seashell knives). Only bemol is the remote location from the city center and old harbor (preferrably bus or taxi) but calm and tranquility is a small price to pay for .

We visited nhow with our two dogs and were surprised by how comfortable we were. We enjoyed the stay so much we extended an extra day. The staff intentionally gave us a ground floor room to accommodate the puppies. It was comfortable. The restaurant has nice food (a bit expensive) and the apéro was buzzing each night. The restaurant, bar and pool had lovely views of the harbor. Sunsets were stunning. Walk to the city center is doable but can get warm in the heat. The bus stop in front of the hotel is easy and takes 2Euro when boarding. It circles between Prada beach (so close to the hotel) and the old port. We also took taxi and Uber when going out for the night.

This hotel seems to want to be trendy/cool (even funky) but may come across as simply pretentious.
Very little customer service all round, impossible to call the hotel reception directly by phone in advance (they have this central switchboard which is not satisfactory and can't answer specific questions about the hotel), too few staff on the reception desk. I specified that we had a wheelchair when I booked (centrally) and they gave us a room that was as far as possible from the lift, so we struggled with wheelchair & luggage along long corridors (painted black!) while there was absolutely no offer of help from the staff on arrival. As far as we are concerned, a one-off experience. Extremely expensive for what it offered. The only redeeming feature was the dinner in the restaurant as the meal was lovely and the chef clearly knows what it's doing.

I found staff really helpful. They changed my room for me so I could get a terrace and sea view and I really appreciated this. The hotel has an airy light Califonia feel and is well situated up the Corniche.
The hotel can be reached very easily by a bus (no 83) from the port of Marseille and runs up and down so frequently, you'll never be waiting long and there is a stop right infront of the hotel. It's a very easy journey, and very beautiful too along the coastline, and I'd say it took about 10 -12 minutes. In fact, I left someting in my safe and had to contact the hotel and go straight back on the bus from Marseille centre and it was not too much stress, again staff very helpful.
The bay it's in is lovely and its really charming walking along the coast of the Corniche. The hotel benefits from being close enough to the centre of Marseille with regular transport and just enough away from the bustle of the port for a more tranquil experience and to enjoy the stunning coastline and the surrounding bays and beaches. The bus route and the hotel itself provides great views of Chateau d’If.
Peacful at night, I enjoyed sitting on my terrace with a drink watching the view well into the night.
I was travelling alone and I never felt unsafe at all in Marseille, in fact, I'd love to go back.

Just spent 3 nights from 13th Oct (room 230) for the rugby World Cup. Apart from being ideally located for the velodrome stadium, this hotel was perfect in every way.

We had confusion with our booking agent over room allocation, so the manager swiftly dealt with it. She was so kind and helpful. Our happiness was her priority, she was great!

The room was spotlessly clean, had fridge & mini bar. Housekeeping staff were on top of making up rooms & restocking mini bars.
Good size double shower room. The view from the balcony was spectacular!

Breakfasts were delicious, staff were so friendly and helpful keeping food replenished & clearing tables.

There is a very relaxed vibe to this wonderful hotel. If we ever return to Marseille, I will be booking here again.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Thank you to every staff member that made our stay so perfect.

Good morning, the main parking lot is not free but not very expensive (around 10 euros a day when I was there) and secured (which is important at Marseille). A few parking spaces are free outside between the main hotel entrance and the parking lot entrance, but frankly it is better to secure your car at night. Have a good stay !
