Immediately opposite the old port this hotel was modern and very clean. We paid foe the port view with a balcony and it was well worth it. Room was a good size without being spacious and facilities were excellent. Breakfast was very good and if you got to the breakfast area at the right time you could have it on...

We selected the top floor, about 45mq. Great view. Wi-Fi easy and free. Quiet. Large and comfortable bed. Walking distance from the old town and main streets. Close to the Hotel de Ville Parking (11€ for 24h stay).

I woulnt call it a four star hotel, however the view from the little varanda to the old port of Marseille makes it worth it. The restaurant of the hotel is very bad. Location is great and check in and out very smooth. Honest hotel.

Excellent location for all the sites to visit. Penthouse suites are superb with phenomenal views of the port. Lots of good places to eat nearby , including Simon's cafe which serves excellent quality food at reasonable prices.

After nine hours train travel from Italy it was a relief to be able to find this hotel easily from the nearby metro station and then receive such a warm and friendly welcome. Although the outside of the hotel is fairly uninspiring inside it is unique and the décor stylish. The room was not large (think Paris) but had everything...

We spent 5 days at this wonderfully located hotel, which has breathtaking views. Our first room was small but perfectly formed, with a balcony and 180 degree views of the port and to the distance the historic Notre Dame on the hill. We decided to end our trip with a little luxury and were able to upgrade to a suite...

La Residence du Vieux Port is perfect for exploring the old port area of Marseille. Marseille has an undeserved reputation. I am sure their are rough areas, however, the tourist areas are very safe. We choose this hotel because it was located near the start and finish line for the Marseille Half and full Marathon. My wife was doing the...

We chose this hotel based on wanting a last night in France in a comfy hotel with a great view, and boy were we not disappointed. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the view is stunning, the room was amazing and I could find no fault. Our view of the harbour was spectacular and with the Notre Dame perched...

This is a good hotel in a great location for exploring Marseille. Slightly quirky interior but good sized rooms. Slow lift and corridors only light up with movement. Decent breakfast and excellent concierge team. The big downside was noise until the very late hours from drummers and bands on the nearby plaza - seems to be a persistent summer problem....
