I liked this hostel. The location was amazing, close to the center of Marseille (by foot) and really near the central station with access to metro and train. The staff was friendly. The rooms were huge, I stayed with a friend in a 16 bed room. That was the worst part, because with 16 people you can imagine that not...

This Hostel is almost right across the train station which gives it easy access to train and metro stations. Shops around the corner for small grocery items and fresh fruit etc. Common Kitchen area is very small, and if you have 5/6 people in it using it for breakfast etc, it is crowded. Staff is helpful. Rooms are o.k with...

I stayed one night at the Vertigo hostel with a couple of friends. Very nice rooms, clean and super friendly staff. Reception 24/7! We had a great deal for a three person room (23 € pp - normally it would be more expensive). Definitively recommendable!!

Ok this is the first time I'm rating a hostel so I may not be impartial enough but here goes... 1/ Staff excellent and nice persons 2/ Clean room and surrounding I'm general For me those are the two important things, it would be difficult to ask for more The only trick here is the breakfast, my apologies but it...

Hostel has a kitchen, a living room, a courtyard, a bar, a washing machine and a dryer those can be used by everybody. The bar and the courtyard close at 24h thereby there is less noise. The reception is 24h/7d open. You must leave your room key at the reception therefore you don't have a attention to your key if...

Did stay in both Vertigo hostels. Both hostels are excellent, had a really great time in both hostels. Did meet many very nice people. Veritgo centre is only minute away from train station. But also close to the Vieux-Port, 5 minutes walk. A supermaket is also nearby. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Very nice terrace. Nice kitchen. Nice atmosphere.

Easy to find and very close to the station, but sketchy area to stay as a solo female traveller. Easily walked to the palace, and the old port as well as 'Le panier'. The hostel itself has very friendly staff and a nice bar area and good kitchen, but the big shared dorm became very hot at night (in July)...

Hi, Thank you for your comment, it is always nice to know people had a nice stay. Although I have to correct one information about it, we do not have only 1 toilet to share, there are 3 of them inside this room as well as 3 showers. All the best Remy

Travelled solo and stayed for 3 nights. The hostel is located 5 minutes away from the train station and close to the main road so safety was a non-issue. WIFI was strong in both rooms and common area but my favourite has to be the outdoor terrace to soak in the lovely French weather. Met some wonderful people at the...

Great for talking and meeting other people. They have a cheap breakfast, but you can find some better stuff by just walking around the area. A sketchy area late at night, got catcalled walking back to the hostel a lot. It's right across from the train station and very useful for early morning trains. A bit of a walk to...
