This is basically a good place to stay for the people would like to visit Vence and St.Paul De Vence. Especially, the center of Vence is just in 10 minutes walk distance. It's easy and pleasure walking up and down between Vence center and the Hotel. Me and my wife stayed for one night and had walks during afternoon, night,...

First of all this hotel has a lot of parking and it's free -- one parking lot is next to the hotel, the other is underground. Vence is known for having few parking places. You can easily walk to the old town. The hotel is family owned and run, including its fabulous restaurant. We observed many French guests -- the...

This is the second time my wife and I stay at Mas de Vence. Better room this time on the 2nd floor. Comfortable beds and good size room. Bathroom OK with a tub to shower in. VERY small, separate, toilet "room". Balcony, unfortunately without any light, but OK to sit and contemplate in the warm summer evening/night. Good air conditioning...

The fact that the Mas de Vence has an old-world character and a very personal, friendly service makes it stand out for me. All creature comforts are available; the beds are excellent and the clean rooms were cooled down to just the perfect temperture (It was 38+ outside...) Lovely that the pool was open for swimming even after midnight! Walking...

This hotel was a great place to stop having a pool , parking, restaurant & only a short walk up a steep hill to get to the town centre. We were shown 2 rooms that were available to choose from. We took a smaller one with a balcony. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard but not included in...

Last minute booking of a double room. Payed around $100 euros. Hotel with a very nice rustic style. Hotel areas looked nicely decorated. Our room was big, simple and nice. Loved the balcony and the view of the Alps from it. Loved the bed (firm mattress) and pillows which gave us a good rest. From the Hotel there’s a shortcut...

We have never experienced such gracious owners and staff! Monique, the owner, helped us with finding an apartment to rent. Willie in the restaurant helped us improve our French. Monique's son was gracious in helping with anything else we needed. This hotel is so comfortable that we hated to ever leave. We were treated like family and felt genuinely cared...

We had stayed in Vence on a number of occasions including twice at this hotel, although only for one night on both occasions in successive years. On our first visit we thought it adequate but on out second we were disappointed. The room was acceptable but it and most definitely the bathroom were in need of refurbishment. We thought that...

We stayed for two nights at Mas de Vence in mid July 2014. We hade mixed feelings about the hotel. We got a room (130) on the first floor, which is supposed to be above the ground floor, but the hotel is built as a souterrain house and our room faced directly to a walking path on the hotel grounds....

The staff here were absolutely charming, we had a very warm welcome and they were very keen to offer us advice for planning our walks. It felt like a family run hotel, much nicer than staying in a chain. It was good value and had a swimming pool. Free parking (outside and in garage - a bit tricky to negotiate...
