We spent three blissful nights in Suite le Chateau, overlooking the lovely old town of Vence. The room was beautiful and full of art and lovely furnishings. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable, the air-conditioning reliably ferocious which was a godsend mid-August (though perfectly adjustable). It was also useful to have a fridge, rather than a stocked minibar, so...

We stayed here for 3 nights this holiday season. The owners, Guy and Antoine were great! Very friendly, they were attentive to every aspect of our stay. They were also great in discussing local knowledge of Vence and helping with dinner reservations and attractions. The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean! This was the perfect pick and our favorite...

Stayed three nights at La Maison du Frene in Vence and loved it. Antoine, our guesthouse host, was SO nice. He went out of his way to be helpful and responsive to our every request and made our stay very enjoyable. I had the St. Chappelle suite and my friend had the Vallauris Suite and they were both beautiful and...

What can I say, other than.... WOW There are some things in life, which you need to do, this place is one of them, from the initial booking and prompt and friendly email exchanges, this started to feel different from the usual hotel/B&B interactions. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Guy and Antoine, who showed us around and into...

Loved our 2 night stay at this memorable guest house. Beautiful, comfortable, upscale rooms with lots of space and nice views as well as light. Hosts were so charming and friendly. Enjoyed the delicious breakfasts. The town of Vence is a must see. Many wonderful restaurants and cute place to have as a home base while exploring the area.

We fell in love with this place the moment we walked in the front door. A warm greeting, and a house filled with art: paintings, sculpture and all sorts of quirky items on display everywhere in this house. We were in the suite on the top floor and I actually squealed when I saw it. It's huge. The bedroom had...

Beautiful 4-bedroom hotel, with every room decorated uniquely. We stayed in the 'pop art' room on the top floor...it was huge, like a mini apartment. Bed was comfortable, interior was stunning and every detail attended to from Marilyn Monroe canvases to Roy Liechistein (sp?) books. I could've stayed for hours in the reception room where we ate breakfast (which was...

We loved this guest house/B&B. The owners, Thierry, Guy and Antoine are excellent hosts providing beautiful continental breakfasts, mixed with good humour and tips on where to go. There were four of us and both couples had beautiful, spacious rooms with lovely bed linen and amazing decor. Each room is themed differently and each day one can discover something different...

When you leave a hotel, saying, "I can't wait to return," you know you've found a gem! Guy and Thierry took this charming 17th century house and transformed it into a 4 room inn that, on first impression, feels like you're in the most beautiful, colorful and whimsical museum! After doing much research on accommodations for my month-long trip to...

What a find! Guy and Thierry have created the most hospitable art gallery in the world - and only one of the art pieces is behind glass. A wonderfully generous place, generous in space of suites, the pile of art books in the room, original art in your suite, attentive and warm service throughout -and I even had the pleasure...
