We stayed for four nights and enjoyed the excellent dinner menu and the relaxed atmosphere in the gardens. Covid restrictions meant breakfast had to be pre-ordered on arrival, but the staff managed this very smoothly so that it ceased to feel strange very quickly. The hotel is well located for a short walk into Vence, or a longer hike along footpaths to St Paul de Vence (involving 500m climb up and down, so trainers and water were essentials!). We enjoyed the stay and will definitely return.
Wonderful place, peaceful and secluded with beautiful garden. Maria and her colleagues at reception were extremely helpful and welcoming. Restaurant is very good. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you
Had a good stay with my wife and 10 year old daughter. The room, patio and pool were all very nice and rooms are quiet. Ample free parking next to rooms was very convenient. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but breakfast buffet was quite good.
The service was superb, the food was delicious, in fact the whole week was wonderful for us all. My grandson who is 3 years really loved the food too. Nothing was too much for the staff at any time. Can’t wait to return again.
Stayed in a Duplex room - fine, comfortable bed, plenty of storage and 2 x TV. Bathroom and toilet were separate - all functional. It was old fashioned and had tiles like those seen in changing rooms, the small sofa was basic. Nice terrace. Outside was lovely, all eating areas around pool, plenty of sun beds. There was a Spa. The bar was really a storage area . Breakfast - plenty of choice - all meals outside. Evening meals not Sunday. Monday - good food, hotel guests only. Rest of the week the meals in the evening were ‘gastronomique’ with prices to match. We had one on the Tuesday and it was so bad we were refunded our cost. After that we walked into Vence or ate at lunchtime. One night we could not have a meal anyway as there was a large function taking place which also involved the pool and area being unavailable from the morning of the day until half way through the next morning. There was other seating areas but they were mainly in the shade so not useful for most. The event looked great fun. They also had a large christening party the day we arrived and a company meal on the lunch time of the day after the ‘event’, when we had tables and chairs moved around us while we were having breakfast. Lunches - mainly salads were good. Staff were very friendly and efficient but the owners need to decide if they are a restaurant with rooms or an hotel with an expensive restaurant. As a hotel guests I would have liked to have the option of a set menu at set prices every day. …
