Fantastic rooms in hotel seventeen. Lots of space, great value for money. Well cleaned every day and in great condition. Felt Covid safe. Looking forward to returning. Easy parking. Great access to the lovely trattoria Quattro on site.
A luxurious, contemporary styled hotel with fantastic staff who attend to everything to make your experience a memory to remember. Very good location from which to explore the French Riviera, especially if it’s your first time to visit and you don’t wish to commit to a particular end. Room facilities are very useful including the kitchenette to give the option for preparing simple meals. The entire staff are a credit to this hotel. especially the lady owner, and both night managers. Bravo!
I’ve been coming to this area for 20 years and was thrilled to learn that my other favorite hotel (Bastide de Valbonne) was opening a modern hotel adjacent to their current property (about 6 years ago). Rooms are quiet, the pool is gorgeous and clean. Kitchenettes are available, if you don’t want to eat at the excellent Trattoria Quattro by the hotel, or go to Valbonne village for its excellent restaurants. The hosts are excellent and there is adequate parking on the facility. I always look forward to my visits here.
We were a couple with twins 3 years old and stayed in a Junior Suite in late September. There was a separate bedroom for us and a sofabed for the kids in the main room. Spacious. Good quality furnishings and decor, lovely bathroom with separate shower and bath, separate toilet room. Kitchenette in a cupboard you have to get them to unlock if you want it and then you have to make sure you leave it clean or you get a surcharge (seems to be a France thing). We didn't have breakfast there. They have a menu for takeaway from the italian right next door. We had good pizza from there and also good burgers from Chez Max. We asked if we could eat our takeaway at one of the tables in the breakfast area or outside at a table on the terrace. A silly young woman on evening reception said we couldn't, we had to eat it in our room. But since our suite was by the pool and there was a table and chairs outside the sliding glass door, we ate there. If you don't have that or you're on an upper floor then I suggest you talk to someone more senior. Apart from her, the staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking. We walked to Valbonne village a few times. It takes 15-20 minutes for a normal adult. Don't bother taking a detour off the direct route, it's not worth it or necessary: Head down the road until you get to the first junction where there's a sign for the vet. Go to the left of the sign and you walk along a bit of grass. There is a point where you have to walk either on or beside a low bit of stone wall. On one side is the road but on the other is a lower stone walkway and it's not far. You can cut into the car park of the restaurant Le Temps de mets. Then walk along Chemin du Parrou, after that it's a proper pavement.…
Staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for day trips. Good breakfast included with room fee. Room was spacious, modern, quiet and comfortable. Very close to the town of Valbonne and several good restaurants. You have to drive though as it is dangerous to walk on the road. Would have been better if the pool and spa were heated and if they provided racquets for the tennis court.
