Our five points go the staff for their attitude, efficiency and friendliness: at the reception desk, in the breakfast room, in the restaurant or cleaning the rooms. Excellent location. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. On the downside: clubhouse not up to par as hotel restaurant of this level (see my restaurant review), half of the parking lot constantly taken by some pretentious commercial activity, the bed was not stable enough for a box spring, noisy cars and motos in the streets nearby, etc. But all by all, we extended our stay with three nights, which says enough ...

Parts of the hotel are looking very dated, but our room was OK (new bathroom). Internet was very unreliable but the friendly manager really tried to help s and sort this out. Much appreciated. The staff in the bar/lunch area weren't too friendly - it seemed as if they prefer potential customers to just go away. But breakfasts were good. It's very close to a good golf course, so all in all, value for money!

The hotel is very well situated to play golf at Valescure and Esterel, the rooms are nice, the elevator is running on its last legs, not smooth but with a lot of shaking. The restaurant is of mediocre quality and nobody seems to give any service with a smile all grumpy faces.

We booked this place at last minute as it was enroute to Italy from Spain. Our room overlooked the pool was well appointed and they had a jazz band playing by the pool in the evening and they were really good. It was a very relaxing end to the second part of our 2.5k car journey. Check-in went well staff excellent. Would have to have played golf in the morning but were still a long was off our final destination in Italy. Very comfortable beds.

A really comfortable Hotel in lovely woodland setting with views over golf course. The bedrooms are large and quiet and great friendly staff. Easy access to St Raphael centre where trains serve Nice and Monaco and close to the gorgeous bay of Agay. Outstanding value and plenty of free parking. Spa treatments are Available. Large outside pool with sun beds. Why go anywhere else. We had a fabulous week

A nice hotel on a nice golf course, a little bit out of St. Omer though so a € 50 taxi ride into town. Golf was a good course and would go back. Rooms were comfortable, but apart from breakfast did not eat in the hotel. One bog problem is they at the golf part of this hotel, lunch is only served up until 3 pm, which if you have a 10 am or later tee time, means that there is no lunch !

After six years I should be tired of the same hotel but for 3 weeks every year I relax the hotel is on the whole very quiet but well run The restaurant has definitely improved so much so I rated it our best eating place of the whole holiday much better than some 5 star eateries Hotel is clean and tidy, pool side is well kept , Beer on tap st Omar 5* Recommend that you try the spa for an hours total relaxation Or push the boat out and have 4 hours of golf and a well deserved 19th hole There is no poolside bar but you can have drinks by the poolside / Garden

This is a very good hotel which we have been coming to for many years and we were there with our friends. The rooms are good, well appointed and the beds comfortable. They are clean and well maintained. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful and reception staff are excellent and welcoming. The hotel is quiet, and one can relax in the front garden (with just the occasional 'ping' of someone tee-ing off from across the road, or the sound of tennis - but these too provide a natural background). Reception provides towels for sunbathing and swimming, but the recliners are not that comfortable, and the pool is not heated and cold. Breakfast in the restaurant is good, with a reasonable selection of food, juices, fruit, hot and cold food and breads available. Lunch can be had on the veranda of the golf pavilion - and there is a good choice with a range of dishes and up to three plats du jour. However, the evening meal is variable in standard, and the choice is limited. The menu is probably sufficient if you are staying one or two nights (which appears most guests are), but it is the same menu for probably the whole season. If you are staying for longer (as we did for 12 nights) and have half-board then the menu is hopeless. There is little by way of other restaurants within walking distance, and you can't enjoy a meal out and drink and drive - so half-board is our option. Lunch-time offers three plats du jour. The main restaurant offers no variation, chef's specials or fresh dishes any day. Indeed, most chefs come out of their kitchen at some point to chat to their diners - this never happened over the 12 nights. The one night the chef was off, Matthew the manager who covered for the chef, came out and talked to the diners. Because we realised this problem, after a couple of days we arranged to provide a list of menu options - this was followed for a few nights, with the duck and sea-bass being good dishes - but it was then forgotten - perhaps as the restaurant got busier. It does not appear that communications between waitering staff and the chef is good, 2 or 3 times the waiter delivered the wrong dish (well cooked or rare) to the wrong diner - surely they can tell, and the chef should indicate, which is which! Sort out the menu and chef problem and you will have a good Les Pins Parasols restaurant. For us, the evening meal is important not merely to have good food, but as a social event. The ambiance needs to be good. I personally miss the 'cheese trolley' which was a good way to conclude a meal. The dining experience is also about staff engaging with their guests. The staff were too busy to do this, and sometimes there was just one person on for the evening. If you want a good dining experience, then staff smiling and talking to diners is important. I realise that was hard in our case, our party speaking English and very poor French, but I noted it did not happen for the other guests either. We will think about coming back - unsurprisingly it seems to hang on the evening meal experience.

This is the very first time in my yearly visit to France that the weather is disappointing. It really made no difference at the Najeti because our stay was delightful. I cannot fault it and the staff are very helpful and friendly. As my partner’s suitcase was damaged inflight Sandra directed us to a travel store where we purchased a well known brand “Made in Europe” at a much lower price than Home.

We had a deluxe room, which was very spacious, with a nice balcony, large enough to sit together overlooking a lawn. The bathroom was also spacious and had a separate WC. Remarkable was the number of electrical outlets in the room: enough for 2 mobile phones and 2 tablets at your bedside or the writing desk or the side table. And that’s something you often do miss in a lot of hotels. The hotel is surrounded by nature, especially pine trees and is an oasis of peace. The distance to Saint Raphael is substantial. Better take a cab- reception is very willing to call one- since parking in Saint Raphael can be a problem. The hotel lies at the oldest golf course of France, there is another golf course nearby. It’s an ideal place to be for golfers, but also for not golf playing people. We had lunch in the clubhouse (very old, but very nice): good quality. Another day we sat on the terrace of the clubhouse watching the golf players coming in, having a drink or lunch and continue playing again. A nice buzz. The hotel has a nice swimming pool with a large terrace; must be nice in summer. Breakfast is reasonable, not very special. Every day the same meat products and cheese. The first morning the chafingdish was empty so we ordered fried eggs. The waitress told us that would be charged extra: no problem. The next day the chafingdish was filled with dehydrated scrambled eggs, so we ordered fried eggs again. However the third and fourth day the chafing dish contained nice scrambled eggs, without any extra charges. So some attention is needed. The Najeti Hotel Valescure has 2 restaurants, but we only could find the Clubhouse. It turned out that the official restaurant Les pins parasol was used as breakfast room and the Clubhouse was used as lunch and dinner restaurant. Perhaps this is for low season reasons. Reception staff is very attentive. Waiters/ waitresses differ. In front of the hotel there is a large parking area.
