Ups: We had a very good time at Unique Hotel. The host was more then nice to us, really helpful, he gave us all the information we needed and the breakfast was very tasty (nice variety of English marmalade). Downs: the room at the 4th floor has a very low ceiling (mansarde)
We were welcomed by Eva on a Sunday and were extremely happy with her genuine friendliness. The following days Jean-Michel was also very nice and professional. The level of service, and the location which is very convenient, outweighs the rooms (ok but not great, mattresses could be upgraded).
The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet street, but close to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. The staff are most welcoming and helpful. Our room was adequate in size, comfortable and with a useful kitchenette.
Not a great experience really. Location wise the hotel is great, near to the train station, harbour and lots of bars and restaurants. Checking in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were kept awake at night by the incessant karaoke party from the restaurant opposite. You know, I like a bit of karaoke. I can throw out Wonderwall with the best of them, but this was sort of like a really weird, loud karaoke for old people that went on past midnight. Sometimes you’ve had a long day and you just want to sleep. Arguably it might have been slightly more bearable if the singing had been adequate, but it wasn’t. There were also no staff on at night so we couldn’t check about changing rooms. Don’t think we’ll be back.
It's such a nice hotel I have ever been stayed in St. Raphael area, I have to come to St. Raphael every other month for the last 3 years and I am lucky to stay in this hotel since last year with such cozy environment and healthy breakfast every morning. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very convenience location to access everywhere such to the beach and the train station, but it's pity for the problem of car parking.
We only stayed 1 night, arriving fairly late. Front of the hotel doesn't do it justice. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely girl who quickly checked us in, showed us our room and recommended somewhere to eat. My husband forgot his charger, so she charged his phone and came over to the restaurant to return it before her shift ended. The room was newly re-furbished, very spacious, with everything you need, including water, tea, coffee, milk. It took us a little while to realise that the room would be very suitable for a disabled person. Very central, one street behind the front. We didn't have breakfast but I am sure it was good too!
This year was the second time when we came back here, and we are thinking seriously to make a yearly tradition. It is a great hotel, clean with large and comfortable rooms, in a great location. It is just 3 minutes walking distance from the port and the beach or from a big parking lot. Jean Michel is a great host, he is very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much!
Unique for sure! Wonderful, small hotel with an attentive and serviceminded staff. Excellent location with walking distance to everything. Did not try the breskfast. My two daughters and I loved the room.
The staff here are nice, especially the young girl who checked us in. It’s in a great location in the town, just off the marina. The room was very clean, it had a little kitchenette, but it’s a little expensive for what it is though...
Brand new, all really clean and beautifully done. One street back from the front in St Raphael. Next to the border with Frejus. There is a difference!! Frejus is neon and tattoos, St Raphael is class. Staff and manager were the best. Nothing was too much trouble from printing maps and directions to bus timetables and storing our bikes! Rooms have cooking facilities and there is a smart bar on the ground floor. Oh and a delightful Indian restaurant on the same street.
