Our stay at this chique spot was fabulous. The hotel itself was decorated both simple and elegant in details. The owner family was so friendly and helpful that we felt at home. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was also perfect being near to the beautiful beaches and restaurants. We highly recommend La Vierge Noire!

Privately owned. Kind of bed and breakfast. Very nice rooms with great beds and nice bathroom. Owners are adorable and so helpful. Great breakfast. Very reasonably priced. They as well have a nice swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Very charming hotel that offers good value for the money. The location is very close to the beach. Rooms are nice and comfortable and the sort of living where breakfast is served is very cosy. Enough parking lots but do not forget for the code before leaving because getting back can be tricky.

Fantastic accommodation. Room was on the small side but it was very nicely furnished and had a great bathroom. The host was very friendly and the location was pretty good. The nearby beach is gorgeous and has the best sunrise. St Maxime is probably a 30 min walk or 5 min car journey. We only stayed one night but could... More

We only got to stay here one night and arrived at 4pm and left at 9 the next day so didn't enjoy the place properly. Nice location away from the main area, easy to drive to but quite a decent walk, just over 3km. Handy beaches straight across the road and really nice views from the hotel. The sunrise was... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Room was lovely with a separate internal room for the kids. Air conditioned which was lovely after a hot day on the beach. The beach is right across the rd. extremely busy and we didn't realise that we needed to book a place to eat for lunch. The owners were very friendly.... More

Good quiet location, but you need a car. Nice clean rooms, friendly owners, close to the beach, big free parking. Good breakfast, if you do'nt like the standard french sweet stuff, you can ask eggs and cheese. The garden and the pool area can be more attractive...... flower trees, etc...

We stayed here in June with our family of four in the two bedroom suite with ocean view. It was beautiful and clean, with a modern bathroom and large balcony with a full sized dining table facing the ocean. Paul even offered to serve our breakfast on the balcony. The pictures do not tell the whole story. The pool is... More

We spent good 4 nights in this nice small French villa hotel in June 2012. I have located the hotel from HoteldotCom and compare the reviews from TA. The hotel deserves its great reviews in TA. Location: -It is well situated right before the center Ste-Maxime. If you have a vehicle, which you should in this part of France, it... More

We stayed at the hotel because we were having dinner with friends at a beach side restaurant. The hotel is across the road from the beach which is great. The hotel feels more like a B&B and was clean. we took the room with the balcony upstairs which was a good choice as it was a little bigger and had... More
