We didn't deal much with the staff, but they were friendly and helpful. Our studio was not too big but it was clean, very bright and well equipped (many kitchen utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee maker ...). We had to sleep on a sofa bed, but it was quite comfortable. We didn't like some details like the broken mirror in the bathroom or the chipped wall - Things that can be easily repaired. The property also offers free parking and is located at 5 min from Nice airport and 15 min from Nice city centre, and at just 35 min from Cannes and Monaco - ideal to discover the French Riviera by car! They hardly had tourist information about the area and some of the optional extras (laundry, pets...) are overpriced. But above all, we had a quite pleasant stay.

A short visit accommodation in need of TLC smelt in places dirty. I found the staff to be less then helpful. This is not a four star accommodation. The balcony door did wonders for my arms, but anyone of a frail nature would be unable to open it.

This review isn’t just about the hotel, I thought the hotel was great but I think people need to know a little bit about the city before they travel... I’ve recently stayed in this hotel. It’s got beautiful views, lovely staff. The room was bigger than expected and clean. It’s close to the waterfront and only a 20 minute walk from a large shopping centre. We decided to go Self catering for this hotel, and it was a great idea. They have a supermarket in Nice called “Monoprix” and it’s brilliant, you can buy your food in bulk and come back to the hotel, where they have your room fully equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils. The only downside to the hotel was the deposit. The lady at the front desk who checked us in said we’d have to pay 200€ deposits, but not to worry because they won’t take any money from our account. They lied, it got taken out straight away and left my brother 200€ short for the week. So just be prepared before you stay, make sure you bring extra money with you because the deposit could be up to 500€! Do not, under any circumstances get a taxi in this city! There’s a taxi scam. The taxi drivers start charging you from wherever you ordered the taxi. For example, if I was at my hotel and the taxi was driving around in a different area and I ordered that taxi, they would then start charging me from where I called them, they would then come pick me up and carry on charging until I got to the place I wanted to be. Not many people seem to know of this. Transport is so easy and cheap. For a bus ride into Nice it’s only 1.50€ pp. Buses are quite frequent, as are trains. For 4 adults for an anytime return to Nice it was 18€. We were able to get the train to Cannes and Monaco. We found that if you download the SNCF app onto your phone, it’s a lot cheaper to buy train tickets on there instead of at the station. It was going to cost us 44€ to get to Monaco, but we managed to get it for less than half the price! As beautiful as these cities are, they’re not for anyone with pushchairs/wheelchairs. They’re full of narrow roads and Monaco is full of stairs. We struggled to get around each city with our daughter who’s 1 year old and still in a pram. They’re also isn’t much for young ones to do. Overall, great cities. They’re beautiful and lots to see if you’re an adult. Hotel is lovely and clean, just watch out for the deposit!

The website photos of this place show lovely grounds, with a view of the azure waters of the Mediterranean just across the street. Reality is a bit different. The units are a mix of owner-occupied condos, apartments and short-term (including overnight) rentals. The building is a rectangle, facing south towards the bay (Baie des Anges?). Don't expect to rent any of those south-facing units; management told me they are all sold to full-time occupants. No wonder: They are gems, with not only sea views, but also views of the legendary sunsets and sunrises. I'm not even sure how many of the west and east facing units are rentals; those would at least have some oceanview, and a sunset or sunrise possibility. Instead, in my experience the renters get stuck in the north-facing units, which have a view only of another dowdy apartment building. So I would rate that as a disappointment, since I thought a view was promised for what I was paying for, based on their presentations. That said, the accommodations aren't bad; if you've stayed at other Pierre et Vacances resorts, you can count on a certain and decent amount of value. We had a one-bedroom apartment; we had to pay extra to get one with a double bed (hard as a rock), which I'm not sure was all that much of a value. In a nook, there were two bunkbeds, and in the living room two hideaway singles. So sleeping six was feasible. The single bathroom was spacious, with a double sink, tub and shower. The toilet was in another room (a nice feature, imo), but there was no bidet. The kitchen was small, but it had everything you might need: cooktop, sink, fridge and well-stocked cabinets. The linens were clean and fresh. A few hairdryers were available at the front desk, on a first-come-first-served basis. A guest laundry in the basement cost 6 euro, including soap. The dryers were 1 euro per ten minutes. We enjoyed the huge picture windows in the units, and the long outside deck, with a table and four chairs, and a laundry drying rack. (Made us wish even more for a view.) Lots of free parking underground, or in an outside lot, a valuable perk in this area. The property was secured by coded gates. The front desk was staffed almost around the clock, and the clerks spoke good English. The ocean was, indeed, just across the street, and there was plenty to see and do, in a lovely area. Since we went off-season, the pool was empty and the lido deck was closed. This is a pet-friendly property. Less than five minutes from Nice Cote d'Azur airport, if you don't get lost with the illogical traffic patterns.

Room ok and clean .Not great location. No entertainment/ bar / food services on the premises..may be different in peak season. Could do with bit of maintenance. Needs lick of paint in places and a bit of tlc.
