My first stay was in 2013 before Four Seasons took over management of the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat. This second stay was perfect. We booked a basic room and were lucky enough to receive a double upgrade to a sea wiew room. Be prepared for sky high prices but clearly this is THE BEST hotel in the area, by far. A real palace in all senses. The Club Dauphin is to die for.

We celebrated my 75th birthday at the La Veranda Restaurant. The setting, service and food and beverage was outstanding. The dinner presentation with the special birthday surprise dessert was very much top class. Thank you for this very special Night to remember.

I’ve enjoyed very much my 5 days stay in this hotel with my friends. Everything was nice. Breakfast is good and tasty regardless COVID-19 period conditions. Even if you don’t find what you want in the breakfast, you kindly explain to the waiter how you’d like to be your food prepared, be sure you’ll get exactly what you want, I’ve tried. Service is outstanding, everywhere, room cleaning, in the pool, restaurant, or reception. Hotel has michellin star restaurant which of cause I’ve visited and which was excellent. The territory which belongs to the hotel is so beautiful, that you feel like in the Dysney movie fairy tale when you walk throw the garden. I do highly recommend this hotel and I’ll definitely become regular customer of this beautiful hotel.

Not the 1st time we stayed in this hotel. We come to this area every year and we rotate hotels we stay in; normally Four Seasons was always on the top of our list. Why? - service. This company is known for their above and beyond customer service to meet clients expectations; sadly enough this time service just wasn't there as usual. Service in restaurants (both breakfast and dinner) is very inconsistent, poor waiters are so stressed out, they are running around trying to satisfy each client, but A. - some are probably not well trained and B. - there just aren't enough employees (this how it feels anyways). Service in the Spa, reception, concierge desk are all very inconsistent. Just few examples: twice I had to wait 30 - 45 min just to order my eggs + waiters are keep forgetting things... At the dinner (veranda restourant) I had to wait 40 min to ask for my cocktail, I tried to get some attention from ANY waiter at this point but all of them were just so busy running around with their heads buried down... So, I finally got up and made a move towards our waiter and then we finally got some attention. Our wine glasses were never refilled during this dinner, we helped ourselves. During the day to have a lunch we had to go out to the restaurants, located in other 5 star hotels as the only 2 choices/places you can have lunch in Four Seasons now are - in your room or at the pool restaurant which is also open to the public (it does not belong to Four Seasons); restaurant is noisy and very hot - not a relaxing experience. I guess the point is this - Four Seasons, your are charging your full rates which are one of the highest in the area (world wide) with full confidence and pride and yet this time you really did not deliver the service you preach so much about - shame on you! Where is your management follow up and organisation? There are many other disappointments I can mention, but this will make this feedback too long. I also must mention that at the bar area service so far is very good as well as service in the gastronomic restaurant. However... Manager, get more involved. Four Seasons, PLEASE hire few more employees, train them well so they look less stressed and are able to do their job better... We hope this hotel can get their magic back one day.
