We stayed for 4 night at end of Sept, our second visit. Had a very enjoyable stay, nice clean, comfortable self-catering accommodation with friendly helpful staff. The area is relatively quiet and peaceful, 100m from a clean pebble beach and 3km promenade & walk to Menton (livelier area) or lovely 6km coastal walk to Monaco. Some nice cafes and local shops nearby, SNCF station Carnoles only 600m walk.

One of the best PIERRE ET VACANCES residences we have ever been to; both in terms of the quality of accommodation, equipment and welcome. Everything is impeccable. The reception agents are all very professional, pleasant and smiling. The service staff does an admirable job as the accommodations are immaculate; just like the common areas. It is the perfect place to discover this beautiful region and enjoy it out of season.

I would like to share my experience of our staying at the hotel. The reservation process of the travel network is quite convenient. The Pierre&Vacancies company itself has an excellent reputation and reviews. But there is an issue about this particular hotel. The service is terrible and unfriendly to customers. Moreover receptionist was demanding to pay 50 euro in cash during check out for room cleaning, they asked to pay in cash without providing any invoice/document for payment. By the way the room was not cleaned during 9-day stay at the hotel. The security online deposit for the hotel stay was returned by the company Pierre&Vacancies, but a week later it was debited from the account by the !!!hotel without any reason. Therefore, a bank transaction dispute will be opened to return the deposit.

Arrived Sunday we were assigned a room on the 1st floor overlooking the garbage cans While we had contacted the Sofia Augusta Roquebrune residence mid July to specify that we especially did not want to be on the 1st but rather on the top floor sidegarden!!! The height is that no instructions had been noted!!! We were told that the Pension was full... At this hour we are waiting to speak with an official. Thanks just to the two people at the front desk who had nothing to do with it.

Worst customer service at this hotel I’ve ever had. The hotel and facilities themselves are pretty good and a nice location, the cleaning staff are also friendly and do a good job although I find it odd you have to pay quite a lot to get a room clean when we booked for a weeks stay but we’re not fussy so we didn’t bother. The response I received three weeks after my stay is hilariously copied and pasted from a centre parcs response, which sums up the customer service and they clearly haven’t even bothered to read what I posted. Before I even arrived at the property I had issues getting in touch about a late check in, and later found out the reason I couldn’t call anymore was because after I left a voicemail with my telephone number asking to be contacted, my phone number was then blocked from calling them again! I had to use my partners phone to call again and after three separate telephone conversations I was given different advice about what ended up being a simple 4 digit check in code for the box on arrival but of course they didn’t just tell me that until the DAY we were arriving which I panicked about on the lead up to our holiday as I’ve been locked out of a hotel all night previously. Ps their email address I was given when I called the UK number for Pierre vacancies (they weren’t much help either and it took half an hour to get through) didn’t actually work, it bounced back. The staff that work at the desk are useless and rude and clearly don’t like English people as they sighed down the phone at me when I asked if I could speak to them in English. I felt really unwelcome. Also we were given 4 rolls of toilet paper for a weeks stay which wasn’t enough, and when I asked the desk for another roll they said no so I had to buy a 6 pack from the shop the day before we left for home which I thought was unfair. I read other reviews that said you can get more from the reception desk but the lady at the desk basically laughed at me and said no!

Unfortunately it is not up to the standard of a stone and holiday. We are disappointed. The bedding is a disaster, back pain every morning. Falling kitchen cupboards. We are on the street side, it is very noisy because it is poorly soundproofed. The delivery truck at the intersection at the foot of the building will definitely wake you up very early! 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are great, as well as the balcony. Forced to use parking because otherwise it is very difficult to park in the area. But I think it's a place that deserves to be renovated.

many changes this year at Julia Augusta...the waltz of the receptionists continues..!!.. Simon the ex director has left for Antibes...more peaceful..and a new management...provisional it seems is installed...a new head in the official place. Blonde and smiling. for the moment. The HR manager is still difficult to contact. Going constantly from Menton to RCM and Versailles high school...!! the head of the cleaning ladies acting as the 3rd decision-maker in this somewhat shaky triumvirate...the swimming pool is leaking...this is nothing new...the TV has difficult reception depending on the day..the receivers.. and others...the customers behave more and more poorly without any remark from the management...too happy to have money...the elevators are often faulty in short...apart from the omnipresent ants, difficult for same prices!!!

Despite the excellent geographical location of the residence, the apartment on the ground floor is very dark all day, stagnant water under the terrace slabs makes it unusable, an impressive amount of mosquitoes are housed there! A week without being able to eat out or ventilate the apartment! Very disappointed

The location is very good and the first impression was good. But then we found the garage floor was always full of water, we didn't have hot water for one morning. We had a problem with the appartment that was not solved and then we were asked to pay for it...

Dear lilianavilas, I’m so surprised by you comment. We effectively had an issue with the hot water system during one morning, and this is why we had some water in the last floor of the parking. Fortunately this was solved quickly. Please sure that we apologize for the inconvenience caused. And I want to reassure you, that we never asked to our guests to pay for this intervention. The only services that have been requested from you, was the accomodation, the covered parking, the city taxe and all other additionnal services that you booked. Despite this, I hope so that you had a pleasant stay at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Best Regards, Simon, from Pierre et Vacances Julia Augusta's team
