Nice hotel with good breakfast. Service was good and personal, since hotel was not so crowded. First we were staying for just one night, but eventually decided to stay for three nights here because of good value for money. Bit far from the city center, but city-bikes are good option if you just find working one.

This hotel will take your money and run you off with no intention of providing a room. We booked and paid in advance, only to show up and find the place locked up with nobody to field our reservation. Eventually, a man emerged and attempted to scare us off-- making threats, yelling at us to leave, and refusing to allow... More

We stayed at la Victorine for the last week of September. It was not our first visit, but our best as it is under new ownership since 2013, and has been completely remodeled and refurnished. Because of the length of our stay we had one of the larger rooms (still small by American standards), but the mattress was good, and... More

We came to this hotel around 22:00 pm. I was starving, I asked someting to eat, and stuff brought me a realy nice dinner, even when kichen was already closed! Really nice stuff. For 2 ☆ hotel wery good. Clean rooms, and it was nice that they gave us parking place - because it wasn't easy to find it. Good... More

The owner, Raphaella was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The room was bright and airy and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and included a bottle of Champagne should the mood take you, but unfortunately we were flying home that morning, so we didn't avail of this perk! Breakfast was served in the... More

Hard to know where to start really. Firstly this isn't a hotel, at least not by any definition that I would use, it is a house that rents out rooms. It is located in a low rent suburb of Nice framed by two very busy main roads and at the end of the runway of Nice airport hence it is... More

The Hotel Victorine is a great hotel to spend a couple of days in Nice. It is not for those who plan to spend all their time in Nice itself as it is at least a 20-30 minute bus ride (at least in August traffic) to the centre, but if - as we did - you want to use it... More

We spent a couple of nights at Hotel Victorine - room was small but air conditioned, the hosts were great. One spoke very good English and was extremely helpful. We borrowed 2 bikes and went up to the old city - the "eat street", market mecca of Nice. I thought it was value for the money - parking is out... More

Our flight to Nice from Paris was delayed. We called ahead to inform the owner, but as we speak only a few words of French, and he speaks no English at all, we doubt if he got the message. When we arrived at the hotel, it was a little after 10 pm, not that late in what is a pretentious... More

The room is very small and has no airconditioner, even a fan. The host is not good at English. The most impotant thing is it will charge you 10% prepayment as reservation guaranty which is not refunded. So if you might cancel it, you had better not choose this hotel.
