I am very happy with my March 2020 stay at Alba hotel. Amazing location (4 min walk to Nice Ville station, all museums are in walking distance, lots of cafes and restaurants around, lots of shops and shopping centers, promenade, parks and gardens). Friendly, helpful staff (need an umbrella? here it is. more coffee? you are welcome). They also let me check in earlier (thank you) and the room was beautiful, quiet and very clean. I would not hesitate to come back. Thank you guys!
Good budget hotel for exploring Nice, Monaco, and Cannes. Clean rooms, bathrobes, and a kettle in the room. The breakfast room lady was charming. Location is great, just 5 minutes walk to the railway station or 10-15 min. to the beach. Lots of cafes and shops nearby. If you prefer to stay in new modern hotels, you may be a bit disappointed as the hotel may look just a bit outdated.
We stayed in the BW Alba hotel this February during the Carnival. We've got a great price as we booked the hotel 4 months in advance. Hotel was well - maintained and clean, except Sunday, Feb 23, when the room cleaning was below the standard for some reason. Staff was friendly, especially the older Madam (her name's Malika) working in a dining room. She was so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was really good - freshly baked croissants, Bon Maman jam, goat cheese and brie, etc. Hot foods: scrambled eggs and pork sausages of a good quality. The only thing we don't like were these tiny toiletries' bottles that need to be replaced with refillable bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Location is great, about 10 minutes walk to the beach. There's no lobby nor restaurant or bar in the hotel, but it wasn't an issue for us. We'd recommend a stay in the BW Alba hotel if you want an affordable stay in Nice for a couple of days or a week.…
Spent a couple of nights here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing me to check in early. The room was on the 4th floor, was very clean and cosy with a tv and desk. Everything worked well and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location is superb, right on Jean Médecin street, about 10 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the tram to the airport. I would defensively stay here again.
Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Nice. We had a room overlooking the street but it wasn't overly noisy in the day and quiet at night. Very close to the main train station and team stops to be able to commute to and from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were able to drop our bags off until our room was ready as we arrived mid-morning. The breakfast was continental but plenty of choice, plus hot scrambled eggs. No bar/restaurant facilities but plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. Room was fairly small but more than adequate and the bathroom was a good size. Clean and comfortable with drink making facilities and a mini-bar.
