This hotel really is beautiful, up there with the best we have stayed in!
As I arrived there was a nice Lamborghini sat on the front and as you walk in does not disappoint. Lots of shiny marble and fine art/architecture, grand piano, beautiful pool table etc.
We traveled as husband and wife with our 3 year old whom was instantly made to feel welcome by all the staff.
The room was perfect, fantastic design and plenty enough space, along with a small balcony to watch the world go by.
We opted for room only basis as the little ones up early so we tend to venture out and about.
The roof top pool/bar was closed sadly, as we were just out of season, but the spa and indoor pool certainly made up for that, it was fantastic design wise, very tranquil and also quiet during our stay, so perfect for our young son to enjoy.
Room service/cleaning was regular, 2-3 times a day so the room was always perfect to walk back in to.
Location wise, the tram is literally on the door step, and you can walk to the beach or boutique shops and restaurants in 5 minutes. The train station was maybe 10 minutes walk, where you can then get to Monaco in 23 minutes so it’s perfect for commuting.
Bar wise we were paying €9 for a bottle of Peroni, and €8 for a coke, with cocktails ranging from €15 upwards
Not the cheapest but you can enjoy it with a view sat out the front of the hotel, or play pool or piano as you drink indoors.
All in all, I would definitely rate this hotel as 5/5 and it definitely lives up to its 5 star rating
I’ve visited Nice on several holidays now and this is definitely the best of the best.
I shall definitely be returning next year!

Wes stayed for 2 nights having been to Cannes and Monaco in the week before. When we arrived we were greeted by a light and bright reception and staff that were so friendly and helpful. We really did feel special.

Our room was really nice with a large bath and shower and we had a little balcony which was lovely for sitting with a coffee. Room amenities are great and we were brought an ironing board really quickly when we requested one.

The valet parking is excellent and nothing at all was a problem for the staff, they were so helpful. The receptionist helped us find the best location for the particular covid test we needed.

We walked or used Uber to get to everywhere we needed to so location was great.

The breakfast is great and again, the staff made this experience for us. Cooked items were fresh and delicious and I was brought gluten free toast which was ace!

We booked the indoor pool/ spa area and spent n hour or two relaxing there, the only issue was the large water jets weren't working but it didn't spoil it.
The rooftop pool is lovely, it's not huge but we never struggled to get a chair or bed and the drinks service was great.

We played billiards and just had a really lovely time. The turndown service is a lovely touch also and we would definitely recommend to friends and return ourselves.

We'd come from a really disappointing hotel in Monaco so thank you Boscolo staff for ending our holiday on such a high

So I should start with the fact that this is a fantastic hotel. However compared with other hotels of the same calibre and cost that we have stayed in before the extras (breakfast, restaurant, late check out and drinks) were incredibly expensive and this put a dampner on things. The reception team were fantastic and three staff member that greeted us was amazingly helpful and gave us information about what was happening (it was carnival week) and what this meant for transport and how to get around and good places to visit. The spa is lovely (although often difficult to get a bed/seat and at peak times the sauna and steam rooms were also tricky). The pictures makes it look large but there is little space around it and although It's technically a pool as it's a bit cool to just sit in like a spa tub it has a lot of features like a spa tub so it was a lovely effect. Although there then isn't a hot tub if you're after one. Mainly we booked this hotel because of the spa so we were a little disappointed when we then couldn't always sit down there, this is the first time I have experienced this at a hotel spa I am staying in. The rooms were clean and maintained well (you could ask for coffee replenishments when they were gone so that was good) and the bed was huge. However as I mentioned we have now holidayed in a lot of very nice hotels and we like to finish the evening with a drink in the bar but at double the price of the bar 5 minutes away this simply wasn't an option. We are used to paying more but this was ridiculous. Also we enquired about a late check out - again other hotels of this calibre and cost are usually accommodating and will let you have them for free or a small cost but this hotel wanted practically the cost of another nights stay for a late check out. Luckily they did say they'd keep our bags so that was something but I was quite taken aback at how much the extras were in this hotel. As I said it was lovely and our stay was pleasant and it clearly was a upmarket hotel however you can stay in other high rated up market hotels for the same cost but be able to justify eating and drinking in them. The hotel was beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely but just Ensure you check out the bars and restaurants just a street away where the atmosphere is lovely and the drinks were 50% cheaper.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for a vacation in Nice. Upon arriving, we were impressed with the hotel; the building was beautiful, and the concierge was nice. However, we soon came to realise that the hotel was not as great as we made it out to be. The hotel property itself was very cramped and The service at the restaurant and pool bar was extremely slow. When we sat down by the pool, the waitress never even came by to ask if we wanted a drink, and we waited for over an hour before going directly to the bartender to ask for a drink. He said the drink would be over soon, but even after 45 minutes it never came. One of the workers in the spa was fairly rude and short fused with us when we asked him if he can turn on some of the jets inside the spa (he even followed us into the spa facilities to remind us, again, that they were broken even though we were not even using them at the time. He also seemed cold and condescending towards us whenever we had any questions about the layout of the spa). It also took about 2 hours for the restaurant to prepare a caprese salad when we were having lunch (which we were charged 50 euros for). While I am ok with slow service from time to time, I don’t think that guests at a hotel that costs 800 euros a night should be ignored and treated poorly by staff members! We had friends who were staying in the Ville-Franche sur mer and saint jean cap-ferrat who found similarly priced hotels that were a lot nicer, less crowded, and had much better service. If you plan on visiting nice, I’d recommend staying in these areas (they are only 10 minutes by train from the centre of nice).

After a couple of (Corona) years we returned to this place and found it in its new environment right next to the metro for the airport in all its splendour.
The welcome in the hotel was kind and personalised, we got a beautiful corner room with w view. No noise, beautiful amenities and an impeccable service of all staff we encountered.
Breakfast on the terrace was well served. The pigeons liked the viennoiseries as well as the guests, so you better take care of your table.
The valet service offered exceptional service beyond the expected and the reception desk was always alert to generate a very good experience.
We are happy to have returned and look forward to next time.
Thank you!

We'd used La Perouse and Le Negresco previously and thought we'd give this a try. Reception staff thoughtfully offered to speak in French to us (we're obviously English but prefer to speak French when we're there), which reflected their most pleasant and accommodating approach. Equally, our request to move rooms was dealt with efficiently; we had asked for a quiet room and had been allocated one at the back, but found that with double glazing and shutter the room at the front was perfect for a good night's sleep. In the rooms we saw you get a sort of integrated configuration with shower and WC cubicles rather than a bathroom. Smart and verging on the boho. Breakfast was very good - we'd dined elsewhere. Central location next to a tram stop makes access very straightforward. Nice trams were a game-changer since we'd not been for a few years. All very enjoyable.

Having looked at some of the reviews (very few within the last couple of years) they weren’t very favourable towards the hotel but given the bill were 5/5 we booked the Boscolo.
From the second we got there it was wow. The service from walking through the door was amazing.
We were shown around the hotel and offered a drink whilst doing. We were shown to our room which was perfect in every way. The quality, the size and the huge bed. There was plenty of room to unpack our luggage without causing clutter. The fridge was restocked daily with water and chocolate which was free of charge. The turn down chocolate was a nice touch too.
The facilities were the best I have experienced in a long time. The gym was kitted out with everything I am used to. Both indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic and maintained perfectly. The breakfast dining room was amazing with everything any guest from any part of the world would want.
The best part for us was the service we had during any interaction with the dining room staff. They would always greet you with a smile and a hello but that wasn’t all. They would all be very aware of when a plate needed taking away or a drink might need refreshing which is rare these days. Not the highest paid people but doing the best job possible which means their personality drove their performance and service. I felt so strongly about one I had to leave her a gift to show how much we appreciated how she’d been. Everyday, even if she’d already said hello, she would smile every time she walked by and ask if you wanted another drink - an absolute asset to your hotel.
I could go on for hours about how good the hotel was and we will return.

We stayed at Boscolo Nice for 4 nights. It was so easy to get the tram from the Airport to the Jean Medicin stop at the cost of €1.50 each. The hotel is just up the escalators on the Victor Hugo Boulevard . We also did the return journey back to the airport by tram at the same cost.

We had a lovely warm welcome from the reception. Check in was quick and instructions given as where everything was. We were given an upgraded luxury room which was fabulous, it was on the first floor and a corner room with 2 big windows. There was traffic noise but it didn't disturb us. This room had all that we needed. It was clean and spacious and included a mini fridge with two bottles of sparkling and still water , and two small bars of Toblerone. Slippers and a robe were also provided. The bed was huge and so comfortable.

We were on a bed and breakfast rate which was lovely with all the usual breads, ham, cheese, salmon, cereals, yoghurt, fruits and pastries and cakes. There was also some hot items like bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and tomatoes. If you wanted poached or fried eggs, or anything other than the buffet there was a charge. €15 for poached eggs was extortionate I thought, even though they would come with vegetables! Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was also provided. What we did have really set us up for the day, there was a really good choice.

We used the pool, steam room and sauna twice which was so needed after all the walking we did. We both really enjoyed it.

We found all the staff were so helpful and friendly especially the reception staff and the concierges. They were on hand to help with any questions we had or directions we needed. They are an asset to the Boscolo Exedra thank you so much for all your help.

The location of this hotel is great. You can walk to the railway station, the old town and the promenade Englais, all about 10 to 15mins.

Nice and this hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Boscolo and cannot recommend this hotel enough! It is conveniently located to many of the main attractions in the city, the tram stop is right outside the hotel and train station a 10 minute walk.
We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice touch as we were staying to celebrate a special birthday for my husband.
The room was bright, spacious and kept impeccable by the hotel cleaning staff during our stay.
We had breakfast included in our room which there was a good selection, there were other special cooked items to choose from however these incurred a cost.
We used the gym during our stay which had a number of cardio and weights to use. It was quiet and only saw once other person using the gym which suited us with the ongoing covid restrictions. We also used the pool on the rooftop and chairs to sunbathe which was a really nice area with an amazing view across the city.
All the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful.
We would definitely return to this hotel next time we visit Nice

The Boscolo, Nice has exceeded our expectations on every level, and we couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect stay in such a wonderful city.

The hotels location is excellent, 10 mins walk to Nice-Ville station and the same to the seafront, however in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to trams, shopping and restaurants.

The Boscolo building is stunning, a fantastic re imagination of the original Belle Époque grandeur into a sleek, white masterpiece that feels like both a work or art, and yet is inviting and comfortable.

The welcome of the building is enhanced by the professional, knowledgable staff. We were lucky enough to be greeted by the fabulous Elizabeth, who was so incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, not just at check-in but throughout our stay.

Our ‘exclusive’ standard bedroom (115) was simply stunning: spacious, beautifully appointed, and bright with 2 full length balcony windows opening to the entrance street.

We also used the rooftop pool which was compact, however offered a great escape from the city with views over surrounding rooftops.

We used the inclusive basement spa, with pool, sauna and steam which was great after a long day exploring the city. The spa is of a very high standard.

We also used the recommended beach operator for a day in the sea, which worked well.

So whilst the hotel is stunning, what makes it so special is the wonderful staff, with Elizabeth being a great example of no doubt an army of equally committed team members. Don’t hesitate to stay at Boscolo.

We used a parking lot as we rented a car for two days. There are many lots near the hotel. You can just look up parking in Nice and it will show you all the lots. I wish I could remember where we chose, it was by a small park, and so clean it shone. Three or four streets from the hotel.
