I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was quite clean and spacious. I got a Bay View that didn't disappoint at all--especially since the hotel is set up into the hill so you are up at the same height as the historic tower/scenic overlook. Be prepared to take several different elevators up and get a little lost on the way to your room in order to zig zag your way up to that impressive height. My booking included the breakfast in bed option, which had plenty of good things on the free menu and a few extra options available as add-ons. The front desk staff were lovely and helped us (in English) plan our daytrip to Monaco by city bus. One note that the "fitness center" is TINY! I definitely couldn't imagine being in there with more than one person. But as long as the weather is okay, the hotel is right on the Promenade for a lovely jog instead. If you're excited about exploring Old City, it's all a very easy walk from the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. We're only happy when our guests are happy too. So thank you very much for making us happier... We can't disagree on everything you just wrote and it's our pleasure to better your stay, we're glad to read we managed to ! It's funny though how what you say about going for a jog along the promenade can be as good as the gym at the hotel, is the exact same thing we say when it comes to talking about our beautiful gem. Have you heard us before? We look forward to welcoming you again and please come back soon! Bérangère BONARDI Director of Sales and Marketing

Lovely hotel, staff couldn’t do more to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. Rooms very clean and nicely presented, particularly liking the ‘puddled’ curtains. Nice character and a great location.

Great hotel, super location and very friendly staff. Only a short 3 day break but couldn't have been happier with the choice. Restaurants in the old town a short stroll away and plenty to see and do on your doorstep

Thank you for such a nice review. We're so happy that you and your wife had a nice stay with us. Again, another guest is right about us. Except that you forgot to mention our restaurant Le Patio. Where the great chef David Chauvac creates amazing and excellent dishes, affordable for all. It's all so good and beautiful. We hope to see you soon again. Our family stayed at the La Pérouse hotel in January this year. The hotel ticked numerous boxes, making our stay in Nice a very pleasant one: - Close proximity to the Old Nice Town (Vieux Nice). Only a couple of minutes walk to a wide range of restaurants and shops. - Easy access to Promenade des Anglais. The hotel is situated at the start of the Promenade; just hop across the road from the reception - Amazing views of the seaside and surrounding landscape. Make that, BREATHTAKING views of the entire stretch of the beach and the promenade! It’s hard to beat this view and location. Our superior room had a sea facing balcony- what more can you ask! Attentive service from the front desk (special mention - Caroline who was extremely helpful), pleasant staff at the hotel restaurant, our charming room (including a newly renovated bathroom), a short walk to the marina and not forgetting superb views (again) from the rooftop terrace make this hotel such a good choice. Some points to note - you would likely need to take a number of elevators to reach your room as the hotel is set against a rock wall with zig zagging passages. The elevators are fairly tight, barely large enough to fit 3 persons. These are not necessarily negative comments - it just makes the hotel quaint and unique, and we love it! In short, we had a super stay at the La Pérouse and looking forward to returning soon!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this very complete Review. There 's nothing more to add! You said it all and we're very happy to see you enjoyed your stay with us. We're only happy when our guests are happy too. So thank you for making us happier! And, yes our lifts may seem tiny and the corridors confusing to some people, you're right to say so, and as you just wrote, it's what makes our hotel so special and unique, even quirky some woud say :) Which is why we suggest every people making reservation at our hotel to call or email us and ask for more details if they feel like it may not suit them. We always are very honest because we're perfectly aware of our good and "not so good" sides. But we're very happy to be seen as we are and to have been able to make you feel good while you were here. We look forward to welcoming you again soon! Bérangère BONARDI Director of Sales and Marketing
