Pure delight. We enjoyed a happy stay in this elegant hotel, well-situated for exploring Nice. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and furnished, the bed so comfortable, linen immaculate and had everything we could need. Evening drinks in the garden and breakfast in the salon were appreciated. Most of all, we valued the genuinely warm welcome from the staff, who were friendly and thoughtful. We hope to return soon.
We really liked this hotel. Nice, welcoming and helpful staff, lovely beds and a charming garden for breakfast or just relaxing. Location is pretty good. Central but in a residential area, away from the noise a few blocks away. Close to the tram, too, and a five minute walk to the see.
Lovely boutique hotel in Nice center. Great location near Rue de France, restaurants, bakeries, shopping. The neighborhood is excellent, near the Museum Massena and the sea. Sweet, clean and wonderfully full of French charm. I’m looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend.
We spent two nights here and had a lovely time. The room was small, but with plenty of facilities. The double bed was pushed against one wall, so it was a bit of a pain getting out if you were on the wall side. But it was comfy enough. There was a desk and comfy chair and plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom was another matter. There wasn't enough surfaces to put your things out on and the shower cubicle was tiny. I like the double doors opening onto the outside. That was cute. But there is no lift, so if you are on a high floor, be prepared to lug your suitcase. Also, they will look after your case after you have checked out but it is not securely locked away, just left in a corridor. The location is great, however, just a few minutes walk to the Prom de Anglaise and the famous hotel Negresco that you wish you could afford to stay in!…
I stayed in the hotel for a short business trip. From the moment when I entered the hotel and went to the hotel reception I felt very well there. I like the atmosphere of the hotel Villa Rivoli. You can reach a lot of restaurants and attractions by foot. The staff was very friendly :-)
Just minutes from the beach with a lovely and friendly staff. Very nice continental breakfast on offer in the mornings and a charming garden to enjoy the morning. Our room was unique, charming and comfortable. Very appreciative of the staff especially who went out of their way to return something we had accidentally left in the room. For this reason alone, honestly, I would choose this hotel again and again!!
Genuinely French traditional Hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Perfect location for access to beach and restaurants in the old town. Although the rooms are small, the quaintness of the room was lovely. I had large French doors opening from the 1st floor looking down onto the courtyard, giving the room a relaxing ambience. The room was clean but more attention could be paid to floor cleaning more regularly. It was pleasant to sit each morning in the courtyard to have breakfast. Breakfast was simple but a fresh boiled egg every morning and fresh fruit, croissants and toast was fine. Overall I enjoyed my one week stay in this simple hotel very much.
Just arrived home from Nice and Villa Rivoli. Hotel was very easy to find from the airport, take tram 2 to Grand Arenas and change to tram 3 heading to Port Olympia. Station closest to the hotel is Alsace-Lorraine. Our room was a nice superior room on the 2nd floor, spacious enough with a firm bed and enough place to store clothes and luggage. Separate WC and shower, it is a very old building with old plumbing so the pressure of the shower might not be as strong as it is home. Good airconditiong was needed and provided, as it was very hot in Nice those days. We had breakfast there too, for 12€ we got eggs, bread ,croissants, juice, coffee, fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, cheese etc. There are also many nice places serving breakfast close to the hotel if you need more variety. Staff was amazingly friendly, spoke very good English and were most helpful with everything. If ever in Nice again, I'd stay in Villa Rivoli for sure. Our favorite bars and restaurants were found on Rue France not far away from the hotel. The only thing that was not bad for us but it is worth mentioning that there is no elevator in the hotel, so people with bad feet and heavy luggage should consider.…
We needed to find a place quickly and near family. Just fot 1 night. Receptionist was beyond helpful and friendly. All other staff were great too. Being coeliac I asked them to make my porridge ( which I took),and they were great about it. I would have liked an egg but didn’t ask. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is charming, has a lovely garden. Cute hotel, clean and welcoming in a very good location. Attentiveness is fabulous. Will recommend it for location and warmth. Didn’t feel rushed out. Thank you for helping us out.
