Absolutely can't praise this hotel highly enough. Check in staff so helpful and also resturant ,every morning met with smiling happy ,engaging people. Food very good and plenty of choice. The hotel is clean and all facilities on hand. A great roof top terrace and bar. The location is great and rooms spacious. The atmosphere in this hotel is both friendly and relaxed.

Absolute worst hotel service I have ever experienced. Rude service when asking to downgraded and rooms not ready even at 530 when they should have been ready at 3. Asked to split a suite into two rooms and they said you could buy a new room as if it was a new idea

Stayed for a few nights during the Rugby World Cup. Hotel is well located by the beach and slightly away from the main city centre so it’s slightly quieter at night, Our room was upgraded because it was our wedding anniversary which was a nice touch. It was spacious and comfortable but showed some signs of wear. Breakfast options plentiful and staff pleasant. Pool area and rooftop bar was very pleasant. Whenever we visited the staff were very quick to ask if we had a reservation and as we didn’t find us a table. The reception team were excellent. Really helpful at all times and answered numerous questions providing us with useful guidance on travel options, bars and restaurants. Shout out to Phillipo who was great. It was a shame there wasn’t a bar other than on the roof. I’d have no hesitation staying here again - Marriott’s rarely disappoint.…

This hotel is conducting ground work improvements at the moment and still fully open. Our allocated room was 1 floor up from the groundworks with workmen, drills and diggers directly under our window. The drilling made the whole room vibrate. We asked for a room change and were offered a room one floor up and not directly overlooking the works. As we were there for the Rugby World Cup we were informed the hotel was full and this was the only other room option. It was slightly less noisy but was poorly maintained with wardrobe door that wouldnt open/close, shower head broken, shower drain broken, desk lamp broken and dirty floor. When the works were happening the whole hotel shook. It was impossible to be in the lifts, lobby or rooftop pool area without being impacted by the works. The management acknowledged the impact by leaving a letter in our room with a cheap bottle of wine and 2 vouchers for a drink in the rooftop bar, which couldnt be used in the evening when the restaurant was booked. How this hotel could believe it acceptable to conduct these works whilst accepting full paying clients is appalling. This hotel is classed as 4 star, I have stayed at better 1 star hotels. Do Not Stay and if you are booked I would suggest you seek alternative accommodation.…

We stopped at the ac marriot for the rugby world cup. The hotel staff are very friendly. Our hotel room was clean, comfortable and even had a partial sea view. Our package also inured breakfast which was good. Plenty of choice. The roof top swimming pool is definitely a great feature which we used all the time. It provides very comfortable sun beds. The only bad point I have is that the hotel are carrying out a new construction project next door. The one day the noise and the vibration was annoying. When we made the booking at no point did the hotel inform us that this construction was going on so there may be some construction noises. Other than that we would stop there again.

This really is a lovely hotel, the room was spotless, spacious and exactly how it looked on the photos. Staff were super friendly and helpful - I noticed other reviews said they were not happy with staff members, however we had no issues at all. Little snack bar by reception was a bonus! Rooms cleaned every day! The airports not too far away and cost us €14 in a bolt. The location is literally a 30 second walk to the beautiful beach front! My only downfall was the shower, it could not stay at one temperature and one moment it was boiling hot and the next it was freezing cold, which was disappointing. Also there isn’t many beds in the rooftop pool (only a small area) so make sure you go up early to secure one. I wish I had been warned to book a table on the rooftop bar as I went upstairs hoping for some dinner/drinks and it was fully booked and the staff were not accommodating or interested trying to fit me in at another time. I would definitely stay here again if i was going to Nice again as I had a really pleasant stay and will be recommending this to my friends and family.…

Sure, the hotel is in a good position, but rooms are very much like dorm rooms. We were apparently upgraded to a junior suite, I would have hated to see the original room we were booked into! We booked a twin, and technically it was a twin, but the beds were literally jammed next to eachother. As we were travel companions, not lovers, we struggled to push the beds far enough apart, to find the dirt and debris underneath hadn't been vacuumed for what appeared to be some time. On checkout, whilst juggling luggage and a hire car, I forgot my good leather jacket in the wardrobe. I realised and called within hours of leaving, and was told I had to speak to the desk manager who wasn't in again until the next morning. After speaking to the desk manager, was told that the room had been cleaned, another guest had checked in and the jacket was not reported into lost and found by housekeeping. Also told that housekeeping cannot enter the room without the specific permission of the current guest, which wasn't true as our room was serviced daily without ours. After 3 weeks of being assured that if it was there it would be found, it is still "missing". We are convinced it has been taken by housekeeping staff - and even though the desk manager appeared to be the only caring staff member, was unable to do anything further . After lodging a formal complaint with Marriott Head office, received a vague email about how they would refer the issue to the Hotel, but referred it to a completely different hotel altogether!! Not the Marriott standard that we have known and trusted for years. …

An appalling “ welcome” from the front desk upon arrival . The young lady was insistent that my wife had not booked an extra room for our son . She was wrong, did that illicit an apology no . There was further distain from another member of staff in terms of our room availability. I’m so disappointed we’ve paid for four nights, I wish I’d our elsewhere.

We worked with a number of hotels in Nice for a group hosting a wedding in the area. A number of the hotels wouldn't take the group or were very slow to respond. Ac Marriott was always very quick to respond and our sales manager helped with an onsite cocktail hour along with recommendations for restaurants, activities and more. Service was prompt with clear answers and support all the way through the process. Guests had a great experience.

Couldn’t not leave a review and special mention for this hotel. Not only is it located perfectly, lovely rooms etc… but the staff really went above & beyond for me when I needed it. When having drinks on the beautiful rooftop bar I stupidly dropped a small gold ring which bounced on the decking and promptly into a gap between the boards. The staff at the hotel immediately reassured me they would help to retrieve it although I’d no idea how they would do this. The next morning I went upstairs and a guy called Christophe was there having a look. He ended up pulling up the decking to get my ring out, incredible! I was expecting to have to live with losing my ring as this was clearly my own fault, but they understood it had sentimental meaning for me and I’d had for 18yrs.
