It's a very nice hotel, two blocks from the beach. The standard room is nice and comfortable, but it's too expensive for what it offers; it's not different from other standard hotel rooms. The shower didn't have a curtain or cabin to prevent getting the floor wet. Everything was very clean and the staff was very kind. People can take... More

I had a peaceful room opening the balcony door to a little patio on the 1st floor in the back yard of the hotel. The room was OK but not luxurious, bathroom tiny. There are unfortunately no rooms with the view over the sea. Hotel has a nice restaurant on the beach where we used to have lunch during the... More

We visited the hotel during the holidays and were unfortunate to be part of the drastic attack that happened on the 14th of July following the fire works on the promenade. Thank God we were safe during that night but we were unable to get back to the hotel and kept trying to reach or call the hotel but there... More

Dear Madam, We are sorry that you have been in Nice during this terrible event and sincerely we hope you are not too traumatized to remember this horror. The hotel Beau Rivage that evening had to face, like all our colleagues, bar and restaurants of the city to a panicked public, shocked by the barbarity. We do understand that tourists... More

Superb room, beautifully decorated & furnished, immaculate fully functional bathroom. Breakfast beyond what we had expected in both variety & in quality. Staff extremely courteous & helpful. Excellent location with almost immediate access to the old city (with the market - flowers, food etc), & the beach. We have never been disappointed with this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights and must absolutely agree that the hotel location is its biggest bonus. The proximity to promanade and old city with lots of restaurants and shops was simply great. Just few steps from the hotel is beach and hotel cooperates with Beau Rivage plage so beach towel rental is free of charge if you buy tickets... More

Worst customer service! Asked for a twin bed to be converted to a double and they conveniently forgot...wouldn't do it despite reminders. The toiletries are awful...who does hair and body gel these days. No hair conditioner? For a seaside location...after a swim I had to be more resourceful than this rubbish hotel would offer

Can not deny that this hotel is in a great Location. It's right on the beach, however the entrance is the next street over. Furthermore it's right at the foot of Old Town, which is beautiful to walk around to check out all the restaurants and cafes in the area. The included breakfast is about as standard as any other... First of all, don't book this Hotel for the private beach and chairs. It is NOT part of the hotel and they charge you 20 Euro's a day. I made the mistake of going through the photos they had on their website and picked it from the lot I was considering solely for this aspect to my disappointment. To make... More

I have been travelling to Nice for many years and always thought about staying in the Beau Rivage. It always looks great from the exterior and there are usually expensive cars outside. All is not as it appears....When you enter the lobby, be sure to look up at the ceiling and the evidence of a major water leak. Be warned....... More

Needs a make over in bedrooms & reception. Misleading information given re private beach which is run by a different company & very expensive to use. Costs €20 per day for bed +€5 for towel + €5 for umbrella + €5 for front row bed. Good location.
