We visited le negresco for drinks and we were seated in the terrace area which was lovely. Our service was Fernando who was extremely friendly and professional. He had some good recommendations for us for visiting next time. The drinks were delicious and the hotel is stunning!

Hotel's Favorite
In decades of travel, this is easily the finest hotel in which my wife and I have ever stayed. Near-perfection. We rarely re-visit places, as we love to explore new locales; this hotel is so nice that we would consider a return in part due to how great Le Negresco was!

Amazing stay at this iconic property while in the region for the Monte Carlo Open. I stayed in a newly renovated internal room and it was fabulous, the interior design from furniture to lighting was modern with a classique twist- very cool. The spa is fabulous, I used the pool, whirlpool, sauna and relaxation room, very peaceful after a busy day Dinner at La Rotonde was excellent with a lovely provencal menu which for me was fois gras followed by lamb with some Saint Emillion Grand Cru to wash it down- what a treat. I had a drink in the bar after dinner where there was a pianist playing. Overall, an amazing experience and worth every penny Well done to the staff.

We had a most memorable stay at the iconic Le Negresco. The recent investment and upgrade of this hotel enhanced its magnificence. The place was spotless, safe with top class security. The defining feature of this landmark historic hotel , with its world class Art collection , is the top class engaging staff who delivered a courteous, professional and helpful service with a smile at all times. This was epitomised in particular by the following— Adrien ( Executive Duty Manager); Diana ( Room Service) ; Patrick ( Security); Louis & Paul ( Le Rotonde) ; Ferdinand & Regina ( Le Versailles). I was overwhelmed by my stay at le Negresco. The staff were superb, and despite my limited knowledge of French they were extremely helpful. The quality of the hotel was excellent. It was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend staying there. I cannot wait to visit again!

Le Negresco was an absolutely delightful hotel to stay while in Nice. I cannot sing enough of its praise. I booked this hotel to celebrate my spouse and my birthday. We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel after a long flight, we had a very easy check-in process. The staff were all so nice. I have to thank Albina for checking us in, and Remi for showing us to our room and sharing with us some information about the hotel and its history. We were definitely impressed to learn about that 6,000+ pieces of art that are found throughout the hotel. We would like to thank the hotel for upgrading us to a junior suite. That was very unexpected, and very much appreciated. Our room was beautiful, elegant, and very comfortable. The hotel room’s linens and towels were all luxurious. The view of the promenade and the Mediterranean Sea from the hotel room was breathtaking. Finally, we thank the hotel team for our birthday card and treat. Dining-wise, we had breakfast at La Rotunda every day, which was included with our hotel reservation. The selection of food was perfect, with a well-balanced selection of healthy and mouth-watering offerings. The decor of the restaurant was easy on the eyes. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and provided stellar service. Per my observation, they always tried to accommodate the guests’ needs. At one point when a guest rudely engaged in a conversation on FaceTime, one of the waitresses very nicely asked the guest to refrain from doing so. We really enjoyed engaging with the staff. It brings a smile to our face to see Olivia, one of the hostesses, each morning. It was also our pleasure to meet Federica, Paulo, Alina, Louis, and Hayat. They were all so courteous, friendly, nice, and engaging. They made our dining experience away from home very homey. And, I have to give a shoutout to Hayat for the perfect latte that she made for me almost every morning. Aside from La Rotunda, we also stopped by the two bars on some of the days. The staff there were also as friendly as the other staff members of the hotel. Regina and Lucas, along with another female staff member who was usually there in the afternoon (but I forget her name… my apologies), all made our experience in the bars very enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to dine at Le Chantecler. Here, as with the other areas of Le Negresco, we also had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic staff members. In this case, we need to thank Louise, Alberto, and Ricardo for taking care of us that evening. In particular, I would like to thank Louise for her recommendation of French Bloom for me since I do not drink alcohol. Finally, the hotel and its collection of art was just amazing. We love the Royal Reception Room. It took our breath away every time we go in there. We roamed each floor of the hotel on our last night at the hotel to make sure we took a look at the art work before we checked out of the hotel. Overall, we cannot be any more satisfied with our stay at Le Negresco. Please help us thank your tremendous team for us once again. We really look forward to visiting Nice, and staying at Le Negresco again so that we can see its staff.

Our stay here was littered with errors. It was meant to be a celebration of my birthday instead it turned into a disaster. Breakfast was awful - the server made us wait for a table and then twice mixed up our orders. They clearly can't cope with the overwhelming number of guests despite it being off season. They didn't even mention my birthday celebration. At Chantecler we were firstly offered what seemed like flat champagne and the dishes offered were poor. I paid for a three wine pairing but was given only two wines. Lastly we went to Monte Carlo for one night but instead of checking us out as usual and storing our luggage the concierge who we spoke to misunderstood and just stored our luggage. Upon our return we were shocked to be charged for 500 euros beyond the preauthorisation which they had taken. They made a huge fuss when we explained we simply didn't have that amount and I could settle it at the end of the month. We were very disappointed at their reaction where they accused us of just leaving the hotel. Really poor unprofessional service. Stay at Le Meridien instead which has a stunning rooftop and I believe they treat their guests much better.

We must address several inaccuracies and misconceptions in your comment. Firstly, while we regret any oversight in not properly recognizing your birthday celebration during your stay, we must clarify that there was no malicious intent from our staff. It is standard practice for guests to settle outstanding bills before departing, and our team followed standard procedures in requesting payment for the outstanding balance upon your return. Furthermore, the issues you encountered during your stay, including the service at breakfast and Chantecler, are taken seriously, and we will use your feedback to address areas for improvement within our establishment. Regarding your feedback shared on Tripadvisor with your check-out, our records indicate that you failed to settle your bill as agreed upon departure, causing unnecessary inconvenience to both parties. Upon departure, your intentionally did not mention to our staff that you were leaving the hotel to spend a night in Monaco. Indeed, you only mentioned to keep your luggage and never came back to settle your invoice. On the next day, with no explanation you came back to Le Negresco to collect your personal effects and leave. Surprisingly you felt uncomfortable when asked to settle the remaining 500,00euros of your bill. Then you ironically explained that your credit card was not valid and offered to leave the property and return in a month to pay for it. As the situation was unacceptable our management insisted to receive the final payment. Eventually after a long period of time you handed a second credit card placed on wallet and the payment could go through. We condemn your decision to express your dissatisfaction in such a public manner, particularly considering your unrespectful behaviour. Just good remind what really 5 star experince and especially service is ! Excellect stay in hotel which has enourmous amonth of history. Dinner in La Rotonde was also in the same level! Taking morking swim in Spa area in the morning + sauna was good start to new day !

The room decorated in African style was really done with taste and professionalism. The quality of the material used for the decoration was very high. The room’s bedding were always perfectly prepared and we felt so special. The quality of the food in both restaurants where we went was great.
