We chose this hotel for the base for our family holiday. It was around 10-15 walk to the city centre but was a pleasant walk on flat roads. This was a great little city and we were able to navigate our way through the city with ease. The tram system was easily accessible from the hotel which we used around the city and to/from the hotel. The hotel was located near a shopping centre which has everything you would need for a pleasant stay. The apart hotel was well equipped for a pleasant stay but the beds we not overly comfortable and did affect our ability to attain adequate rest.
The hotel is well positioned in the centre of the city and directly opposite a shopping mall including a large and reasonably priced supermarket. The girl at reception who checked me in was very friendly and helpful, and she was most welcoming when I returned later following a short walk. Adagio is an apart-hotel and so although my room did not resemble an apartment per se, the amenities included a refrigerator, microwave oven and a dishwasher. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and, as is rarely the case these days, the bed was well made. Since the whole point of paying for hotel accommodation is to secure a decent night's sleep I was very pleased that the Adagio lived up to that expectation. The one disappointment was the breakfast offering. Apart from a very basic selection, the food was left out unprotected in a person-to-person spread pandemic. The bread was not very fresh and was chewy. The one aspect of breakfast I did like, however, was self-boil eggs and those eggs were delicious.…
We had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel. Apartment has well equipped kitchen and in this price range it offers a great deal. Breakfast is also very good. Very good location as tram station is at 200m distance.
Well-located Adagio with rooms a little bit above standard - kitchen equipment is as usual very basic. The overall atsmosphere is fine and the district is both close to central Nice abd has its own charm - and a veryt large Carefour around the corner. Staff and service below average
this stay was good, We liked the apt living and the TNL in front of the hotel as well as the fruit store, I cooked for Xmas and made it home for 5 days, It was close to the centre and trams Good stay!
We are from India stayed in the hotel Hipark by Adagio in Nice in an apartment type room from 10 December to 13 December 2019 for four days. We had a wonderful and an extremely comfortable stay in the hotel. The apartment room in the hotel was large enough for three people. The hotel was at a 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the convention centre in Acropolis, where I had a conference to attend. The receptionists were polite and extremely helpful. They politely answered all our queries during the stay and were extremely helpful in everything. The lady chef (Sabah) was highly cooperative, pleasant, smiling lady and specially prepared Indian vegetarian food, for us for the duration of our stay. We would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone. This hotel in Nice was really nice..…
I am not able to recommend this place. I paid my stay beforehand in June. When I arrived to Hipark at Sept I was asked to pay for city tax and also my credit card was charged for the price of my stay. I have waited to get the extra payment back - with no response. I am very dissappointed for the very expensive stay.
Negative: Very erratic WiFi speed and connection. No meat cutting knife - asked at reception and was given a steak dinner knife which was useless. No extractor fan working Cooker hob.only one ring until maintenance man changed it. On Friday, two days later the hob stopped working with code E showing. At 6.30pm went to see Julie in reception. No help offered - receptionist said she was on her own with no other member of staff or maintenance on site and had only been in the job for two months! She offered a free breakfast for us both (30€) but this was not appropriate as we have our own self catering apartment and do our own breakfast. The hob cutting out continued intermittently throughout the remainder of our stay. Cooking a meal took ages to complete. Microwave inside top opening cupboard which only stayed open when resting on open microwave door (have photo) One and a half toilet rolls left for two people x 7 days. We requested more from cleaner. No microwave containers. No instructions to operate any of the electrical kitchen equipment including air conditioning which is totally ineffective. One of the two saucepans too big for hot plate so only one useable. No cushions. There was no bottle of water which was listed on booking.com. It seems since our last two successful visits standards have been lowered considerably. According to the maintenance man they can only use what equipment there is with no additional expense to repair or replace. What a shame as it was a good apart hotel. Certainly wouldn’t consider staying here again. Positive: Comfy bed once we removed all the hot plastic covers. Quiet at night Good location close to tram to get to town Apartment was clean when we arrived. …
Have visited the property in October 2019 and the beginning was not great. We were “greeted” by a not so polite receptionist. Were told to wait or come back so we asked politely to leave our luggage to return later, reluctantly the receptionist showed us were to leave the luggage. When we entered the room there were beddings and towels only for two even though we had booked for 3. When we complained the not so nice receptionist insisted that we were wrong, so we insisted more and eventually the housekeeper came along and realised that there were no bedding or towels for our son. When she eventually brought the bedding in making the sofa bed we discovered that the underneath had not been vacuumed in months were we found sigarette butts and pencils and written food. In the bathroom one of the lights was not working all week the towel holder at the back of the door is broken and lastly but not least the toilet room smells of down pipe reflux which makes the room really musty and smelly. The soft furnishing like the carped are very badly stained. There is not enough cutlery or crockery for 4 people. Lack of the base instructions of how to use the heating / cooling system. The stay has been disappointing and I do not think I will ever want to stay with adagio again.…
Just returned after A 7 night stay for a conference. The hotel was within walking distance to the convention center. The front desk was responsive but only 1 of the staff members was somewhat friendly. The room I got was on the 6th floor in the rear section of the building. Needed a separate elevator which was located near a storage area. It was very small. Being at a long conference I needed an iron and closet space. No iron. Minimal closet space for suits. No drawers. Basically had to keep most of my clothes in my suitcase. The bed was uncomfortable and I had back pain all week. The WiFi was spotty at best. Not recommended especially for the price.
