We are sorry to read that you did not enjoyed our breakfast included, but composed of multiple products such as several choices of breads and pastries, fresh and squeezed orange juice and 2 other kinds of juices offered, fruit salad, 2 kinds of cheese, ham, chicken breast, butter, several choices of yogurt and 3 choices of cereals, 3 kind of fruits, fresh eggs to boiled …effectivly by yourselves!!! Really nice, clean and comfortable rooms for an Ibis hotel. Close to the airport. They provide a shuttle to the airport. Train station to Nice is just 3 min walk. People there are very lovely and supportive. A good place to stay.

Dear Guest, First of all, we feel very sorry that your flight was cancelled by your airline company; however we can’t be responsible of it. For your information, the airline company is paying for the room and breakfast and the extra charges have to be settled by every guest. Secondly, we are sorry that you didn’t appreciate your stay in our establishment. However, according to what we have just read now, it seems that the services provided by the brand Ibis Style didn’t fit with your expectations. Indeed, the mattress, pillows and towels are the ones chosen by the brand. Therefore, you will find the same ones in every Ibis Style hotels and as you can see in other reviews it is very rare to have negative comments about it. Nevertheless, a point will be made with the housekeeper in chief and the technician to understand what went wrong in the bathroom and toilet. We are also very surprised by your comment regarding the bathroom as the room has been cleaned in the morning. We are wondering why you didn’t come to the front desk to let us know that you thought they were used before when you realised it though? Also why didn’t you mention and explained the points at the check-out time when the receptionist did ask you if you enjoyed your stay? Regarding, the late check-out at Ibis Style, it’s always 30.00 € extra for every guests. Moreover, as you can find in any other Ibis Style hotel, there is free coffee and free tea in the lobby for every guest at your disposal. All the other drinks such as soda or hot chocolate have to be paid at the bar. The hot chocolate you mentioned is 3.00€ extra so our receptionist was right to ask you to pay for it and it is not fair for you to ask it for free. They were no reasons to offer it and we didn’t know that you had any dissatisfied points in your room. Finally, I think we had a little miscommunication. Like I said to you, we offer free coffee, free tea and croissants, and also a free airport shuttle service. I didn’t threaten you, but, as all our services were so bad from your point of view, I thought you might not appreciate the airport shuttle service also. Let me finish by mentioning that you omit to write down how you threatened my receptionist by telling her that you were going to share a bad comment on Trip Advisor if she was not going to give you a free hot chocolate! We cannot accept this…… We always take into account the opinions of our guest to improve constantly our services and it is regular to respond for each of them. We hope that all the online viewers of Trip advisor won’t be influenced by such opinion. I invite them to read the latest ones which are very good. Best regards, Mr Claude Even – General Manager
