This site is for static caravan holidays only as it no longer takes camping or tourers. The site is small ( about 30 ) but has every thing you need for a relaxing time doing nothing.it is also very handy for touring Cannes and Antibes.

Ultimately we enjoyed this holiday. We traveled as 2 50+ grandparents, our 30 yo daughter & 6yo grand daughter. Our first impressions of Cote Mer were not great. Some of the pictures we had looked at were very skillfully done. The pool, as publicised is small, but smaller than we expected, and the terrace bar is far more basic than we imagined it would be. We had booked a Grand Lodge with deck and A/C, & it has to said we were somewhat disappointed in what we got. It wasn't that "grand" & it's not a lodge!. It was a wooden clad static caravan, and my impression is that some of the more traditional Eurocamp units on site were better than what we'd paid for. All that said the devil is in the detail, perhaps we should have researched better, and it is my understanding that this is a new site for Eurocamp and going forward things could change. That said the unit whilst cramped was spotlessly clean. I would also say that the outside of our "lodge, no. 60" was quite scruffy and in need of some ground maintenance. Whilst it created a real sun spot for 4 or so hours/day, it was not a nice spot to relax with scrubby ground and trees and bushes which needed a prune. As I say, after our initial disappointments we enjoyed our holiday overall, and to an extent Cote Mer grew on us. In terms of some of my other Eurocamp experiences I felt this was not quite good value for money, but I've tried to rationalise that in to what I think are the pros and cons of what the site offers or doesn't offer. Pros The 6 yo loved the small pool and her swimming came on a treat. Spotlessly clean cabin. Staff want to be helpful. The folks running the cafe/bar also really want to be helpful. Cafe/bar is reasonably priced. Generally a quite place. Really great location, you can do Monaco or St. Trop, in 45 mins as well as those spots in between. The local town is within walking distance. Big supermarket close by. A/C was really good Easy access to coast roads or motorway, and easy to find from airport. Site felt secure. The walk in to the local town involves a hill, (each way, think Grand Old Duke of York), but it is doable, our little 'un did it and some of the local restaurants are well worth the journey! Cons Our "grand lodge" as stated wasn't! Pool is kid friendly, not an "adult pool" Limited choices at cafe/bar. Some inaccurate info at the Eurocamp reception re markets. On this subject, I thought the three guys repping were good, but as an older person, do they need an older guiding hand with a bit more experience? Limited variety for take-aways. The walk in to the local town involves a hill, (each way, think Grand Old Duke of York), but it is doable, our little 'un did it and some of the local restaurants are well worth the journey! Midges & mozzies rule the night, (and portions of the day!) Very little else happens in temrs of entertainment, which you may feel is a "pro"! Very limited car parking space. As I write & reflect I think Average may be a bit harsh, but I have to compare with what I have paid for vastly better sites, and accommodations. Finally & on a personal note, and in a way this sums up some of the problems with this site. Once again many, many thanks to Alex at the Homair reception who helped us out with a boarding pass problem. I hope your PC recovers from me using it! Unfortunately the Eurocamp folks couldn't help me because they didn't have access to a PC and a printer!

We were very impressed with our lodge. We stayed only two nights as it was just another stop on our European road trip. It was spotless and everything inside the lodge felt new. It has everything that you need. The restaurant serves amazing pizzas and the swimming pool is clean and inviting. The only thing I would say was a bit misleading is the distance to the beach. If you book this place thinking the beach is around the corner, then you might be very disappointed. The closest and very crowded small beach is good 20 mins walk. There are some beaches a short drive away, but unless you are a mountain goat or Spiderman, it is always going to be quite an experience. If you combine this with a 6-month-old baby in our case, whilst carrying all the baby and picnic necessities in the heat of almost 40'C, you have enough very soon. Having said that, you have a great pool onsite and there is no need to go anywhere!

After many years of going to large Campsites, full of entertainment and activities, now that our boys are older, we tried a small, quiet one. Cote mer is lovely, safe and family friendly. The pool is small, but very clean, and the restaurant in site is good, with friendly staff. Our accommodation was great, with a lovely big tree giving us shade, which was great as the weather was extremely hot (Summer of 2018 heatwave). Within a short walk ( with quite a steep incline, to be honest) you have the beautiful beaches of La Napoule, with its beautiful Castle by the sea, great restaurants and a few shops. Also on a practical note, within a few minutes by car there is a shopping center with a Geant Casino Supermarket, and cheap petrol. La Napoule is a charming place, and I cannot wait for the next visit.

Small and safe quiet site with basic but adequate facilities. Great bar and restaurant onsite with great food and friendly staff. They also had a TV set up in bar showing world cup games as it was on while we were there. Lovely beach only ten minute walk away, this walk is both uphill and downhill so be prepared! Lovely shops and restaurants also within walking distance not far from the site. Ideal base for touring the surrounding areas of Nice and Cannes and Monaco.

Lodge was spotlessly clean, Lots brand new, good kitchen facility with better microwave than at home. Beds comfortable. Linen package high quality cotton. Welcome package very useful. Unexpected small shop in the restaurant with enthusiastic chef Pierre who makes great food and wonderful puddings Ordering bread the night before was really useful. The swimming pool was perfect in such hot weather. We chose widen lodge with built over terrasse and the Esprits have a parasol. sanitaires block was always clean and tidy with showers, wcs, sinks and washing machine. This year we had aircon for the first time and really recommend it - and TV during the world cup both in the restaurant and in our lodge. We travel on public transport, buses right outside about once an hour in two directions and 2018 a great free Mimo bus from the bottom of the road into town. Uphill and downhill walk to beach in less than 10 minutes. Travel from Nice Airport on choice of buses - fairly express one at 8 euros and local one from Cannes 200 at €1.50 if you have the time. Weekly bus ticket or pay in the bus.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Camping Cote Mer staying in grande comfort lodge (sleeps 6) Went with friends who stayed in the lodge next to us and this holiday was practically perfect. The campsite is lovely and in a great location for access to beach, restaurants, small shops etc. It was fairly small as far as campsites go and felt very safe for our three year old daughter who loved every minute. Some small grumbles-there were a number of rules (no toys in swimming area/no suncream in swimming area/men had to wear swimming trunks-no loose fitting shorts/no barbecues) and whilst they did, on the whole make for a pleasant stay, seemed slightly excessive. My husband who didn't have the correct swimwear was unable to use the pool. There is an expectation that you leave your accommodation clean which is understandable but the standard was set very high particularly as the cleaning equipment doesn't lend itself to the task. (A bucket, a cloth and a brush rather than a mop) Our friends left in the early hours of the morning and could not check out officially. We did this for them and the owner of the site was not happy with the standard of cleanliness of floor despite them cleaning this thoroughly before they left. We, in turn purchased floor cleaner and cleaned the lodge for approximately 4 hours before we left! Not a particularly nice end to a relaxing holiday. There is a cleaning option but the cost is excessive and I would suggest provide suitable cleaning equipment would make this less of an arduous task! We would love to return despite this small complaint as it is really such a nice place. Recommend the rotisserie shop in mandelieu for a lovely cooked chicken to eat back at the site and the little bar/restaurant overlooking the beach by the chateau has a small walkway to the sea and sunloungers for hire for full day and half day-a great find! La Napolena restaurant is lovely (on route to beach) and a trip to Nice for the day is great for kids with fountains, carousels and a small tourist train to explore the old town!

Just spent 2 nights here, on way through to Italy. Hadn't booked so only offered choice of 2 emplacements both next to entrance and one with no shade, other had some shade which we chose. Was a very clean site, toilets and showers clean but a bit quirky layout in 2 blocks, why don't French have toilet seats?? Pool area spotless and water clean and very pleasant on hot day. Restaurant good food reasonably priced and Francisca very welcoming and made you feel welcome. Location if not in car walkable to shops and restaurants but hilly and tiring in heat and motorhome parking appeared non existent. Would highly recommend overall if either in car or quite fit to walk.

We have just come home from 2 weeks at Camping Cote Mer. It is such a beautiful campsite, it is peaceful and shady (which is great in the high temperatures). It has all the amenities you could want. There are quite a few rules to adhere to which we found slightly strict, however, we quickly realised that actually these rules helps to keeps the site calm, safe and enjoyable for all the family. Alain & Francoise who run the bar/shop/restaurant are such gems. They are so helpful, so warm and welcoming and serve such well cooked, well priced food. In particular the 'Moules frites' are just great. They work tirelessly to make your holiday relaxing and memorable. Don't forget to order you bakery goods the day before and don't forget to pack your huhummm swimming trunks (eg not shorts) and you guys will thoroughly enjoy your stay. I would also like to point out that this has been the ONLY campsite we have ever gone to where the mobile home/wooden lodges actually do look exactly as they do on the website (minus the red cushions). We stayed in a 'lodge extra confort 4-6 people' and the standard of accommodation was great. On another note, I have restricted mobility, I would say that the access to the lodge was somewhat of a stretch of my ability (although I did it fine), the shower is very accessible, but next year I will be bring a raised toilet seat as the toliet is low. As too are the beds for rising. I wonder whether Laurence had thought of getting 1 accessible lodge to open the option of disabled holiday makers in a easier manner? As apart from the lodge the rest of the site is very accessible!? Thank you all for a brilliant holiday!
