We went there in September 3023 as part of a rugby world cup tour (Living with the Lions). We were a group of 4 couples and we all had a great time and were well treated by staff. My wife and I had a sea-view room (definitely worth the upgrade) which has its own balcony. Room was awesome- huge king size bed and a very spacious modern bathroom. The bottled water was complementary. With its lap pool, private beach, beachside bar- great location for beach side walks, boat excursions and walks into the local town (great restaurants). - whats not to like. Breakfasts are great too. This is a quality hotel- you will spend a pretty euro though (sun beds and drinks are pricy) but for a special vacation it was worth it.

On the positive side, the hotel is beautifully located, spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious. But don't bother trying to order anything to eat or drink. Anywhere. In your room, at the bar. Forget it. Maybe they are understaffed (as two different disgruntled barmen were overly keen to inform us), maybe the barmen are so busy moaning they don't actually get round to pouring drinks, or maybe the management focus too much on conferences. Either way, you'll go thirsty. We waited 25 minutes at the pool bar after picking up our own menus before giving up and walking to another restaurant. I complained to reception, the receptionist told me she would pass on my comments. The next day, we decided to order room service on the app, hoping to avoid the previous day's issues. We waited an hour, called Room Service directly, to be told that the app didn't work! My second visit to reception involved returning the room's app sign/stand to them and telling them it was a pointless piece of decoration. By this time, any staff member worth their salt would have asked me what I wanted to order and arranged it on the house. But France does not empower such employees and your only option is to speak to the "responsable" aka evasive manager, who was apparently available to speak to me the following day. That's not going to get me a croque monsieur when I'm starving. Off to another bar it was then. Thank goodness there are plenty nearby. Which is the only other good thing about this supposedly four star hotel.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Was across with clients for the rugby World Cup. Rooms excellent and well serviced. Breakfast brilliant each day. Pool stunning and little beach and bay in front of hotel very safe and shallow. Annoying having to pay 40 euros for a sunbed for all day. No discount for half day/ couple of hours seems strange as most of the beds were empty most of the days! Check in staff really helpful. Service for drinks at pool bar slow but food service very quick - strange. Old town Mandelieu a 15 min walk away a delight . Would definitely stay again

Returned to this hotel after six years. To start positive, the location is excellent, rooms are decent and spacious with nice balconies and the combination of pool and beach is great. However the negatives are unfortunately plenty. Firstly service is very poor, both reception and mainly at the breakfast hall. Many of the employees hardly speak english or pretend not too… at breakfast they simply ignore you sometimes. And talking about breakfast, this is the largest disappointment and certainly not worthwhile the price. When you arrive a bit later, but still 30-45 minutes before breakfast closes, a lot of the buffet is empty and no refills unless you specifically ask and also then chances big that they wont refill. When asking for cappuccino on average it takes about 20 minutes and staff looks at you a bit angry that you even dare to ask… when requesting to sit on the tables outside which use to be the nicest spot for breakfast you get a sorry, we need to prepare for lunch ( at 10 AM when breakfast closes officially at 10.30). Staff cant wait to remove the buffet and by 10.25 very little left… I can continue with more comments f but simply recommend to go into the village and have breakfast at one of the bakeries. Oh no, I forgot the largest embarrassment of this “5-star hotel” the gym… no airconditioning (average temperature in summer around 30 degrees and often warmer), almost no equipment, no water, no toerls, few workout mattresses which are sandy…. No treadmill, proper other machines… simple a shame To summarise: room and pools are very nice, rest is poor and tired

No concierge, no service. I had endless problems here. To name a few, dogs in the breakfast lounge when no dogs are allowed in the restaurant, for 10 days every morning there were dogs I complained numerous times but to no avail. Worse still twice I saw dogs eating out of the same breakfast bowl as the rest of the guests utterly disgusting! The rooms are meant to be smoking only on the balcony but on the whole floor on the 7th floor it smelt like an ash tray, very disturbing for non smokers. I requested something from the front desk twice to get back to me, on one occasion the person took my name and mobile and surprisingly no call back. The breakfast itself very average. No real variety so we just stuck to boiled eggs. The room rates are simply not reflective on the quality and service. On the positives the staff at the reception did try helping as much as they could particularly Amilcar. He was very polite and helpful. The rooms were passable and clean. All in all one of my worst hotel stays in probably 10 years. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In 20 years of travel I have never reviewed a hotel which should demonstrate how bad it was for me to go out of my way to warn other.

We welcome with great pleasure "our friends" dogs in room and outside, but for hygiene’s reasons, they are not allowed in the restaurant. Unfortunately, some people do not always respect our instructions and put us on the fait accompli once served: which was the case. Also, we are sorry to read that the breakfast food was not to your liking, we always have excellent guests’ feedback on the variety of dishes offered. In addition, rest assured that our team ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises by carrying out daily checks on different occasions. Nevertheless, some of our guests may sometimes be less respectful of the work provided by our teams and may smoke in their rooms. We are sorry about this; it is beyond our control, and we are always doing our best to remedy it quickly. Furthermore, we would be grateful if you could give us a little more about what you asked for at the reception, so that we can understand the reasons for your remark and provide you the most relevant answers. Nevertheless, we are happy to read that you have appreciated the kindness and dedication of our reception team and especially Amilcar who will be delighted to hear that you have been sensitive to their sense of service. This hotel seems to want to be something it's not. A 4 star aiming to be a classy destination with 5 star elements it fails on all fronts. Just like the casino onsite it seems designed to leech money out of guests. From the service failing to acknowledge ALL loyalty at first and require pushing to do so. Sun bed lounges were all reserved apparently days in advance so you can't get a decent spot on the hotel private beach. Another area above the beach has an utterly deluded price point to sit of €200 per bed (over priced by at least double) but for what? There is no exclusive pool up there just seating? Utterly confusing when compared to excellent 4 & 5 star resorts around the world. Everything is pay for play, service is poor - we were given zero information about the hotel at check in - it just feels cheap, tacky and overpriced. The one upside is the rooms were good. We stayed in many hotels along the French Riviera and this was the worst. Avoid, especially if you show loyalty to Accor.

As for the rooftop, it is a brand-new VIP area with a dining area, bar, and lounge. Please know that our canopies and daybeds prices are studied according to the local market and the other 4* hotels. Also, these beds can accommodate up to four people. Furthermore, we are sorry to read your comment about our service which is not a reflection of our habits. The Pullman is a fantastic hotel with everything you need on site from, lovely restaurant food and service and even a casino. If you do want to venture out Mandelieu-la-Napoule is just a short walk and Cannes just a short drive away. It has one of the largest (and deepest) swimming pools in the area and a nice beach. (I don't understand some of the comments about paying for sunbeds, all the sun beds on this coast are paid for and are generally more expensive with poorer service) We had a great time, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing, close to cannes and great views of the sea! The hotel is beautiful as well as the bedrooms. Comfortable and large rooms with huge balcony and great views. Let's do the good stuff first. Room was a decent size, with modern bathroom. Then the not so good stuff. Arrived just after 4.00 pm just wanting to check into our room and have a swim in the pool. Was told that our room would be ready in about 30 mins. Not good enough. Then went to the pool - which was closed - apparently there was glass in it. Looked to still be closed when we left the next day. Sun loungers are 40 euros per day per person. Complete and utter scam. I've never heard of such a thing. We declined - and glad we did so, given that even if the pool had been open, it's got a glass barrier around it so its not exactly somewhere you'd want to hang out. And the beach is very small and over crowded. River/golf course view from the room omits to mention that the immediate view is of a public car park and main road - with the river and golf course beyond that. Went to the bar with a glass, asking for some ice to take to my room. 'You have to call room service' they said. 'But I am literally right here in front of you' I replied. They weren't interested. The hotel is cheaper than Cannes, but still not inexpensive. And with the 30 km/h speed limit, its a good 15-20 mins drive. I booked this hotel having searched 'Cannes hotel with pool'. The pool was closed - and in any case, it was a pretty rubbish pool anyway. You'd forgive a lot of that if the service had been great - but it wasn't. And 40 euros per person for a sun lounger per day is unforgivable.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write to us following your stay. You arrived at 4 p.m. and checked in at 4:07 p.m. Due to the strong winds on the day of your arrival, a glass fence was broken near the pool and for your safety we had to close it. However, we reopened the pool the next morning. Regarding the glass barriers around the pool, it is a legal obligation for the safety of children and to prevent the risk of drowning, and now mandatory, even for private pools. Also, you have booked a classic room with balcony. For a next stay, if you want an open view of the golf course and the Siagne river, I strongly recommend that you choose a superior room. Furthermore, the deckchairs service is available for a fee as it is in all 4 * hotels on the French Riviera. Please know that our prices are studied according to the local market and the other 4* hotels. Of course, as a hotel guest you benefit from a preferential rate in low and high season. Nevertheless, we are fortunate to benefit from an exceptional location "fon the edge of the sea" which allows you if you prefer to settle on the public beach and enjoy the swimming pool with free access and the beach.
