Yesterday we arrived to the hotel. The welcoming was good. As we arrived we asked for close rooms. On the key, numbers were close as in 450 and 451. However, there were at least 50 meters distance between them. That’s not the primary reason for disliking the hotel. We accepted the rooms, though they were far away front each other. We got the keys at 15:00 and left nearly at 15:30. At night, when we came back, there was a smell of a toilet in the whole room. That smell not only came from our rooms but also from the ground floor. We asked for changing the rooms as it wasn’t possible for anyone to sleep there. I called reception three times and each time he told me he was coming. After an hour, I went to reception and receptionist told me they had no one to send to our rooms to check the condition(smell). (Why would you say you are coming, if you will not? ) The receptionist - Matthew told us that there is no rooms available to change and we should sleep in the smell of the toilet in the whole room. After Matthew sent one of his colleagues, his colleague told Matthew that it is not possible for anyone to sleep in that room. While they were no available rooms, out of no where Matthew told us that they have a room that can be given which was smaller than what we paid for. So, we asked for a room in the same size and category. While we were trying to solve the issue, Matthew gave the room to other clients (that came long after)and offered us another room which was two times smaller and obviously was not in the same category. ( it didn’t even have a bath). We had no choice but to accept the smallest room. Today, they offered us a room with discount that would cost around 480 but in the website it is possible to change to that room without a discount with a price of 450. The money, room size, and the category is not the issue. The issue is the attitude of the receptionist Matthew ignoring our problem, not even trying to solve it. Even the manager is not in the hotel. Our agent sent as an email saying that the we had an issue of the smell in the room, and hotel immediately solved it by providing us a room. Since when “immediately” means two hours of arguing with the receptionist, not only their customer service but also their English is bad. I don’t even mention the mile long distance to the pool, barely washed glasses, and another receptionist who told us she can refund the money if we don’t want to stay just because she couldn’t find close rooms… That is not how the hotel should treat the clients.

Where do I begin? WOW. Lets start with that.. Actually, no. let me start with the good. First of all the staff was very friendly. Everyone down to the housekeeping. They get 4 stars for friendliness. Now... the rest of the hotel gets 0 stars. If you are planning a "dream vacation" to the South of France, stay far away from here. Dreaming is the last thing you'll be doing in this hotel between sleeping on the crack of two twin beds crunched together, listening to people literally SCREAMING at at other for HOURS (no exaggeration) with out anyone doing anything about it, or holding your breath from the god awful stench of mold and mildew on the mile long trek to the pool, which doesn't have towels, which is a complete liability, walking up 4 flights of stairs to get to it, not having running water or towels in the pool bathrooms. Yeah, it was less than "dreamy". I was immediately disgusted 5 moments after arrival when I was told to get to a changing room I had to walk across the entire hotel only to be led down that hallway. The yellow carpets were BLACK with mold stains everywhere and stunk horribly. I am not hard to please, I didn't need to stay at the Martinez, however had there been rooms available, I would have gladly left the Radisson and paid the $900+ per night to get out of there. The restaurant, filthy. Paint peeling off of the walls. Place hasn't been dusted in months. We also paid extra for sea view and got a full view of metal and stairs and a PEEP of so ocean behind all of that between tress. Hardly a sea view.. just honestly appalling. There is so much more I could say but I've been trying hard to block it out.. Was so happy to leave there after 4 sleepless nights. The only reason they don't get a zero is because of the friendly staff - otherwise... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY HERE.

We stayed there for 5 days and had a great time. There is not a lot to complain about. One thing that really could've been done better would be the diversity at the breakfast! There wasn't a lot to choose. The rooftop and the rooms are wonderful, great time.

Very bad experience. We booked from the pictures we saw on the website and when we arrived it was not the same. The hotel was shabby and not very clean and accomodative. An unfortunate suprise. Not recommendable.
