The hotel is very nice, well situated. It is a fantastic place and I had an amazing time there! The beach is the perfect place to relax despite a service that is sometimes quite slow. The staff is great, particularly Anais who is very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I will come again, for sure…
Absolutely one of the best several days to spend in a hotel in Cannes. Luxury all the way. My daughter and I will never forget such a lovely experience. It was the best way to experience cannes. The location and view was superb. I have been to cannes over ten times. I will stay there going forward hands down. Everyone was super nice. Its certainly high end.
We had our 3rd stay in the hotel. And we will come back again due to the amazing location and breakfast. This time we had a room with partial sea view which we enjoyed. The late check in (after 4.15 pm the room has been ready - we had to wait over 1 hour without any information or refreshment offered - which is done by some 4 * hotels already) was not giving us the relaxing start we expected from previous visits. Of course, we cannot expect to get a room at 3 pm - but at least it should be available not later then 4.
A grande dame of hotels , with all the pomp and bustle . But when it comes to day to day running not so good. Wifi in my room was awful , when I complained , there was the usual oh so sorry etc , but zero improvement. Called housekeeping for a razor and foam , 3 calls later and an hour plus it finally turned up. It’s all a bit creaky and taped together , glad to have experienced it but not worth the bother and cost. Bar was lively for a drink or two, I must say. My room took ages despite a 3 pm checkin , 35 mins late . All in all 6 out of 10. Not worth the pomp and ceremony
I am an entrepreneur, working globally. When I stay in Cannes, France, I always spend my days at Hotel "Barriere Le Majestic". I work in the reception, eat meals in their fabulous restaurant Fouquets, invite friends for dinner, do workout and take full body massages. The hotel Le Majestic is fantastic. Their service is always excellent. The atmosphere is top luxury and the food, in their main restaurant Fouquets, is gourmet quality. I appreciate in particular all the kind assistance and service I receive from the team in the "Concierge-desk", including Samuel, Erik, Gilles, Thierry, Marine, Geoffrey, Alexandre, Romain and Benjamin. Thank you for your kind service of excellence. I do recommend Le Majestic with my warmest compliments. Allt the best, Mats Bergqvist Senior Consultant Kunskapsbolaget Suède…
Wow what a hotel /place /people Made to feel welcome soon as we stepped out of the taxi on check In Lillian (Hope spelt correct ) was professional and made sure we knew what was what he escorted us to the room to make sure all ok room with a view an understatement level 7 had to be the best view from Hotel perfect to watch all the hustle and bustle ready for the festival and of course amazing sea views ! Breakfast was perfect staff couldn’t do enough Prior to arriving contacted reception about birthday cake and ballon for a family member to have at breakfast staff made aware we were made to feel special Would definitely recommend and will be returning A big thanks to all the staff who we knew were under pressure getting ready for the festival Sarah C
I cannot praise the Majestic Barrière enough! We stayed 2 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was fabulous.. The kind team upgraded us from a deluxe sea view room to an executive suite, which was beautiful, with a separate living space and two sea view windows and a gorgeous bathroom. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay just perfect. A special mention to Emile who was brilliant, especially during a stressful time - our passports were stolen at Nice airport. Breakfast was delicious and catered for my vegan and gluten free diet. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Fouquets and pre-dinner celebratory champagne in the bar, which was lovely. The pool is stunning, a peaceful oasis away from the hectic la Croisette. Overall, a outstanding hotel, luxury and glamour yet still friendly. We will be back! Thank you to all the team! …
Gorgeous, historic property in an excellent location! Was completely pampered by the staff here. Everyone from Anais in guest relations to Marine at the concierge desk to Lilian at the front desk to Aicha at Mademoiselle Gray Plage were so helpful, flexible, and accomodating. We are so happy to have experienced the wonderful amenities of the property. The only issue with the stay would be the spa -- it is very small. Despite the hotel being at 50% capacity, I was shocked that none of the locker rooms were available, prompting me to hold my stuff when using the sauna/hammam facilities. Overall, great stay! Wish we stayed longer!! We look forward to returning hopefully very soon.
This is the most prestigious Hotel of Cannes. However do not try to order some fried eggs to the waiters. Suddenly you will have a reckless answer “you see this table? You go there and you ask to Madame what kind of eggs you want to eat and you take yourself your eggs”. Even that you have guests on the table, your “egg order” is not cared. You can not order your egg to your table in this most prestigious hotel of Cannes, this is really MAJESTIC (!)
Impeccable property. Gorgeous rooms, quality, professional service. Great concierge. Great front desk staff. Beautiful in every way. I cannot wait to go back! Try and get a sea view room….such a nice upgrade. The location is beyond compare…next to everything…not that you need to leave the hotel…the restaurants are fabulous!
