Great hotel and outstanding service, the hotel is cross the road from Palais des festivals, the staff are amazingly polite and helpful ... highly recommended. Was there for MAPIC 2022 last week and was extremely empressed with the service. Many business receptions took place there as well which makes it ideal for business stay
We went to the Barriere last summer, and it was the most beautiful family experience we have ever had in a Hotel. While my husband and I were enjoying the South of France, our kids had the time of their lives at the Petit VIP Studio. The kids club is run by fabulous people. So prior to arrival a lovely girl from reception called to confirm our reservation asked was it a special occassion i told her it was our wedding anniversary and was travelling with my mother in law. Had stayed there 7 years ago and had a great experience hence the return visit. So on arrival greeted all going well. We were showed to our rooms us staying in a double for 2 persons and my mother in law in a room on her own. We were showed to our rooms and all good. After emptying our suitcases we found in the wardrobe a pair of reiss shorts obviously not belonging to us do my husband brought them to reception ......so the next morning my mother in law recieved a tray with macroons and mandarin juice for 2 people we did not receive anything so asked reception we tgen got a tray thank you. Day 2 recieved an invoice under the door belonging to room 405 not ours with another guests information again my husband brought this back to reception.. so also day 2 did not receive any water????? Day 3 came back and a lovely table full of fruit drinks cake etc so yet again had to go to reception to ask why a table was delivered they said sorry again that it was meant gor a famous singer not us and would bring our complaint to a manager. So finally on departure as if we enjoyed our stay said no. No manager for follow up nothing. I have worked in hospitality all my life so im very respectful for all workers but yhis is the worst experience i ever had in a 5 star hotel not good enough. There was a conference on at the same time that seemed to be getting the 5stars…
Perfect location within blocks of the Old City, shopping, and the beaches. Superb service by the staff from the moment of checkin. The bar and restaurant offer excellent menu and friendly staff. We can't wait to return!
Had a fantastic experience at the Majestic. Definitely a luxury experience…they thought of every detail. We arrived early without our luggage. Quentin walked us up to our room and said they would check on our luggage for us. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Wonderful turn down service. The sea view was spectacular. The work out facilities were also too notch. My only complaint is that I could not find an outlet in the bathroom so had to blow dry my hair in the bedroom. It’s pricey but if you’re looking for a treat, you will not be disappointed.
My 3rd stay in Majestic, it looses nothing from its quality and standards. Staf is perfect, housekeeping is perfect. Sometimes In Europe especially in France breakfast habits miss someting, but Majestic offers an ultra international choices for breakfast. Even you don’t stay in the hotel, their breakfast deserves to be tasted. Finally best choice in Cannes. Thank you! See you next time.
After having stayed one night in a small hotel which I really did not like, I wanted to treat myself to this palace, but when I arrived I was told that my room would be ready in a few hours, ok it was 1 p.m. but why a few hours, the receptionist had replied that the hotel was expecting a large group so I am not a group so not important, I had wanted to take advantage of the swimming pool but too many noisy children, I had taken a suite but there was only the price which was high because the room itself was not surprising and at this price I would have liked to be surprised but it was not was not the case, the next day I left to find a hotel that could respect me as a customer and not a number and I found it
the worst experience. i had to cut my trip by 1 day only due to my father's sickness and i asked them to discount last night but they refused. i showed them the pictures of my father in the ICU and the medical report but they also refused. shame on them. i don't recommend
We had an enjoyable three night stay at this lovely hotel. Great location and attentive service. The bath products are luxurious. A small perfume was even included! We also received a gift from the chambermaid of a bookmark for one of our books with a handwritten note. Cannes is a wonderful place to visit and this hotel is as well.
Luxury service in every point, exceeds our expectations. my wife and I will be back. People very friendly and helpful in every time. Very charm, excellent and fresh food the pool at the exact temperature the restaurant very good also the room service.
