If you're on a budget, this is a great way to visit Cannes. Spent a week here on a business trip for a festival earlier in the year and would definitely return. In terms of amenities, the hotel is very basic, but it is clean and the staff were great. I had a room at the front of the building...

I booked the hotel at the last minute for work. The hotel was very nice. Although it's on the main shopping street in Cannes it's actually very quiet. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly and speak English (which is very helpful). The one negative is the Internet is really bad. The free internet...

Perfectly located on Rue D'Antibes, close to the Palais and Croisette, Hotel De France is a perfect choice for the budget conscious but picky traveller. Rooms are well appointed, I had a view of the hills, which was quieter than the views facing the busy Rue D'antibes. The bathroom had a standup shower, albeit a very tight squeeze. Bed was...

We had an unbelievably good stay in Cannes at the Hotel De France. We stayed in the busiest week of Summer and it was absolutely fantastic value for money. The location is just epic - it is located in the heart of Cannes (on the main street, 1-2 blocks or a 5-minute walk from the beach) and near to all...

This is a nice hotel, that provides good service and comfortable rooms with good standard. Rooms have air conditioning. There is breakfast but we decided not to eat at the hotell due to price. The location is excellent for exploring cannes and enjoy restaurants in the neighborhood - let me recommend Da Laura or Xavier La Pizzaiola. Internet is not...

I got a good rate from the hotel and my stay was definitely a very price worthy one in Cannes. The location is superb and the staff nice and helpful. The rooms are all newly renovated and clean. Please ignore all the old photos posted for this hotel! Although the hotel is on the main shopping street the rooms are...

The most honest thing I can say is that all the positive reviews proved to be true. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in July. Rooftop terass is awesome to chill on in the evenings and watch the sun go down from. Huge pillows in beds, four of them, nice touch. AC works like a charm, such...

Not 5 stars only because it's not luxurious. But it sure is welcoming. My 3rd time here. Pros: location, roof-top terrace (very empty in April and October, my times there), staff (oh-so helpful, happy and friendly), comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, air conditioner (cold enough for Americans and quiet, too); clean; many places to eat and drink within 5 minutes;...

Very friendly staff, great location, very good value for money, a high level of service, clean rooms, a five-minute walk to the Croisette. The only two small things that we disliked were poor Wifi on our third floor and French-only TV channels.
