We stayed there for four nights with my husband and 4-year son and had a very relaxing time. We enjoyed: -the breakfast there every day - the selection was nicely curated and of high quality, and Michael was very attentive, welcoming, and kind. -the heated outdoor swimming pool and lounge were clean and comfortable. -staff at the reception were caring and helpful; we especially appreciated Nicola's professionalism and hospitality. -location was perfect; the commercial street is right there, and getting to the beach is a short and easy walk. -there was no noise disturbance, and it was peaceful. What could have made our stay even better: -more options for in-room snacks would be helpful, especially because we have a small child, and sometimes, we can't make it to dinner out. -give us heads up for using the sauna if we need to ask the staff and give notice. Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here for a mini break. 3 nights. Fabulous little hotel at the heart of everything. 10 mins from the beach, perfect for clothes shopping and places to eat too. The train station was also only a 20 min stroll away - great for trips to Antibes, Monaco, etc. The staff were super friendly and helpful with all our requests. Breakfast was more than ample - everything you could want to feast on no matter what your choice! There were 3 of us and the room was plenty big enough. The sofa bed converted into a very comfy double bed, unlike many 3rd beds that are small & not comfy at all! We would love to return, depending whether we can bag another bargain, as the prices vary!

The hotel is very well situated in the city center with short distance to Rue d'antibes and the restaurants by the beach at la Croisette. If you like a small boutique hotel, this is the best in Cannes. I have stayed there quite a lot during the last five years. On the flip side, they are missing a loyalty scheme and prioritising returning customers, whereas other hotels in Cannes have much better programs.

Every morning we had no hot water to wash ourselves, it was lukewarm water, There were several angry guests, we asked to leave the hotel but the manager refused, offering us just a small discount. The carpets are stained , there is a problem of soundproofing because every morning we could hear the traffic in the shopping street , the staff told us that we were the only ones to complain but in your bad comments on Trip Advisor we were not the only ones , nowadays it is possible to install triple glazed windows to obtain a total soundproofing .

Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing the Canberra. There was indeed a material problem with the boiler room recently, which caused a problem with the hot water. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this caused you, as well as the rest of our guests during the period. Fortunately this has now been resolved. We are currently in the process of doing our winter works, the paintings and the carpets are being renovated, as every year for your information. The whole hotel is double glazed and once the windows are properly closed the soundproofing is as good as it can be as we are in the centre of Cannes. Pros: Relatively central location that is walkable, good service Cons: Lack of hot water and disgusting stained carpet in rooms that needs to be replaced I was shocked at the condition of the carpeting given that the rest of the hotel seems updated and in good condition. Service was prompt and attentive though the breakfast buffet was not always restocked promptly. Several guests complained about the lack of hot water in the showers which is a very basic and concerning issue.

Concerning the problem of hot water, this problem can happen when the majority of the occupied rooms use the showers at the same time. It is a question of momentary pressure, which I can understand can be a concern. Concerning the carpet of your room, as every year after the season and as in all the rooms concerned, their replacement is planned during the annual winter work phases. The hotel rooms are spacious, the location is central with direct access to the pedestrian street, though with a nice terrasse and pool oriented towards the south and the Croisette and beach and restaurants.

Perfect size hotel. One entrance on the main shopping street, another around the side. Big patio with plenty of tables, was lovely to sit out during breakfast. Also had some lounge chairs and sunbeds. The hotel is lovely, modern and clean. I used the pool late in the evening as we were out all day everyday. Breakfast was the same everyday but we didn't mind, we knew what to expect that way! Continental with your usual bread, pastries, cereal, plus thin crêpes/pancakes, bacon and scrambled/boiled eggs. We had a privilege room with double patio windows that overlooked the pool. It was such a big room with a corridor/hall and plenty of space. The best thing about the room was a separate toilet, I wish all hotel rooms had this! The hotel was so close to the designer shops, bars and restaurants, also walking distance to the beach, the harbour, and the old town of le sequet. The area wasn't too busy or noisy, it just felt safe with a lovely buzz. I'd highly recommend this hotel :)…

I had booked through a website then I had called to reserve a parking space, the person on the phone had confirmed this request to me but when we arrived there was no parking space for our car, they asked me for an email from confirmation that I did not have because I had booked by phone, and in Cannes finding a parking space is very complicated and if I was sure that I would not have space for my car I would have chosen another hotel, I had discussed it with the manager or the director and we found him haughty

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful facade located in the city center, we had come by train and in less than 10 minutes we were at the hotel, our room overlooked the swimming pool and it was facing south with a view of the small swimming pool, but also to the noises of the swimming pool, all day there were children who made a lot of noise around and in the swimming pool with parents who did not act at all to find calm, it was unbearable

Perfect location . close to shops , restaurants & the beach. Friendly staff. Very cute room . I would stay again if I ever return to the area. It’s located on one of the main streets in Cannes Also there’s a pharmacy 2 minutes away to get covid tested to return to the USA.
