I had a good hotel experience, yet the service was not good. Check-in was fine, but the service at the restaurant was extremely slow. The server proceeded to set every table before taking my order. A few days later after checking out, I asked the hotel to store my bag for an hour. They refused even though I stated I was here a few days prior. I asked if I could pay for this or simply eat at the restaurant. I wanted to spend my money here, but they wouldn’t allow It. Sad that the service was poor and ended my trip in a negative way.

Very good situation in Cannes with a private parking. Gardens with direct acces to promenade ares very nice. Room recently refurbished with all modern amenities. Very quiet with good restaurant on site.

Very nice and clean hotel. Worth the money paid for. Located in a good area with lots of good shopping abd restaurants. Comfortable rooms. Friendly sraff abd specially receptionist Preetham is very helpful.

Contrary to what you may think there are places in France where you get excellent and friendly service. This hotel is such a place,. With a lovely garden this hotel has seaview and is somehwt recessed from the road. Rooms are fine but a bit outdated. There is only one lift and the staircase cannot be used for daily service.The beach is wonderful but not cheap (euro 60 for a bed per day) Food on the beach restaurant called Hyde is excellent and service is very friendly. Only negative was that after asking at breakfast for nature yoghurt for three consecutive days they still could not serve it on day4! Concierge service is fine.

The GRAND HOTEL in Cannes is a luxury hotel with several notable features: Location: the hotel is in the middle of the beachfront of Cannes, and it has an enormous palm tree dotted lawn that offers a magnificent park-like setting that separates it from the sidewalk and street alongside the Croisette Decor and rooms: The hotel is moderately sized and has a unique feel of luxury and intimacy. It is elegantly decorated, with a stylish lobby, lobby bar and restaurant. There is a large outdoor terrace dining and bar area that welcome guests throughout the day, with sunny and shaded areas available. The outdoor bar area is especially comfortable and welcomes guests for late-evening drinks. Rooms are appointed with tasteful furnishings and amenities,and many feature outdoor terraces for relaxation and spectacular views of the beaches, sea and sky and festivities of Cannes. Staff and service: The hotel team, including reception, conciergerie, voiturier and baggage personnel, restaurant and bar staff are all very professional, friendly and attentive. They are led by Monsieur Raybaud, an outstanding hotel director who assures a welcoming ambiance, efficient service and an enjoyable customer experience. Quality of service, food and beverage and overall experience and value is excellent. This hotel is appreciated by discerning guests from many different countries. The room was clean, spacious and confortable and the location perfect. A minor negative issue was the poor service at breakfast and at the "Le Cercle" bar, partly justified by the Covid-19 mitigating measures. Overall, a hotel I would recommend.

We have spent 5 nights at the Grand Hotel in Cannes and took the time to appreciate the the advantages of such a place : nice spacious rooms, of 40sqm+ ,great service, exquisite location on the Croisette in the middle of a private park and facing the sea , excellent private beach club and restaurant. I would specifically mention here the special attention we got from the hotel manager as well as the high professionalism and welcoming attitude of the restaurant manager ! Many thanks to both as well as to the rest of the staff for having made our vacation in Cannes ! The Ruinant champagne at breakfast every morning will remain a reference In terms of luxury French hospitality and a “marque de qualité” of this exceptional establishment. Not easy to forget anytime soon. )

Nice and spacious room, amazing view and great high quality service. Room with balcony snd sea view is an absolut must! Too bad that there are a lot’s of construction around the hotel at the moment. Just one thing to be even better: it would be nice to be able to inform you that we do not want new towels everyday in order to be a bit more eco-friendly.

The location is perfect, breakfast is worthy of praise, the staff is amazing. Very nice view of sea view room. Highly recommend. I also recommend dinner in the restaurant, the chef surprised with exclusive dishes.

This is definitely a lovely hotel for a stay in Cannes. Its right on La Croisette, with plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby. Having stayed at other hotels in the area, I think it probably falls a little short of the likes of the Carlton and Martinez but those are very high standards indeed. The rooms are large and the staff very accommodating. Two small drawbacks - 1/ you can here quite a lot when room next door is using the bathroom! I guess thats a downside of these older buildings. 2/ some of the fixtures could be updated. For example, the switch in the toilet cubicle in my room is very basic - in other hotels in the area, small details help to elevate those hotels to all-round luxury. Nevertheless, I very much enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to others.
