Exquisite hotel located at the tip of Cap d'Antibes. Stately glamour, old world ambiance, sprawling grounds, peace, quiet and complete privacy. The most superior customer service I have ever experienced. No request is too difficult, service is polished, prompt and perfect. Exceptional staff, concierge, bell boys, pool staff, housekeeping, restaurant, lifeguards - all interactions with staff are a wonderful experience. I will return to this hotel every year as long as I am able to travel.

All the superlatives used to describe this hotel are absolutely accurate and there is little more I can add. Having stayed at many of the world’s top hotels in grand locations, this has by far the best location and ambience. It has old world Riviera charm, history, understated elegance, extensive, beautiful gardens and perfect service. We had regular meals at the Eden Roc grill and the main restaurant; both excellent. What really makes this hotel so special though is the professionalism and charm of every member of staff we encountered. Nothing was too much trouble. To the housekeeping, concierge, pool and restaurant staff (and others I may have omitted), a very big thank you for making our stay so memorable. You rightly deserve all the accolades given. A couple of points to note though. First, we had a ‘classic room’ in the Deux Fontaines building. The room was generally fine and clean with an outside terrace, but the beds were small and uncomfortable. Most of these rooms face the road which can be noisy if you have the windows open, especially at night with loud cars and motorbikes going past. Second, the hotel does apparently allow some hotel guests to receive visitors to the pool and sunbathing area for a nominal charge (I believe it is just over 100 Euros per day). The sunbathing and pool area is rather small and cramped when busy. On one occasion, the visiting guests made it very noisy and difficult for hotel guests to use the pool, which is surprising given the high cost of staying here in peak season. One would expect exclusivity for the prices charged. Nevertheless, when I raised it with management they immediately dealt with the situation and we were not troubled further, a tribute to their professional response though perhaps they should review the visitor policy when the hotel is busy. Aside from that I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would definitely return. Yes, it is very expensive, but then the Cote d’Azur in high season is anyway. Given the average prices of top hotels on the Riviera, I would say that this is probably the best there is for the price you pay for such a glamorous location.

My husband & I stayed at this magnificent hotel back in May & it truly is as special as it’s reputation suggests. Of course, the location is amazing, but the service & ambience are first class. The decor is immaculate & the accommodations superb. This hotel could certainly be a template for an excellently run hotel. On the second evening of our stay (our Anniversary, actually) the Heavens opened & I was worried about walking to the hotel restaurant for our dinner reservation & negotiating the elements in my heels. No need to fear! The concierge was quick to arrange for the hotel car to drive us door to door. Needless to say, we will be returning.

The most fabulous hotel and restaurant in the world and we look forward to returning each year! I have visited every summer since i was a small child with family and now with my partner; it just gets better. Try a champagne cocktail on the rooftop bar overlooking the Med with views of Cannes and beyond as the sun sets. Heaven.

Do it. It's worth it. This hotel is very special and definitely something you want to experience at least once in your life. The grounds are stunning, the views are superb, and the facilities are elegant. We stayed in the pavilion down by the water and we recommend this over the main hotel. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the chair situation at the pool. If you want to sit by the pool, you have to get there super early, you have to be aggressive about claiming your chair, and you have to 'tip' a lot of people to help you.
