We stayed in September for a week. The hotels position is great with the private beach. Our room was on the ground floor and it would of been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and what a mistake not to have them. We didn't eat in the Michelin stared restaurant. However, the food in the main restaurant was uninspiring and great if you liked courgettes as they seem to be on every dish. Cocktails varied in strength and not consistent. Breakfast was fine, but that is an easy goal to achive. The beach guys were very good, but they made sure they needed to be rewarded for their efforts, which I found disconcerting. I would stay again for its position and beach, but not much else I am very sorry to say.

We had extremely high expectations of this hotel given its location, price point and membership of Relais and Chateaux. We expected the amazing location to be accompanied by great service and food. Our arrival made us feel that we could relax as our luggage was taken from the car by the valet and it was whizzed away as we checked in and had a tour of the hotel. We quickly got changed and went down happily to the beach bar, and that’s where things started to go down hill. The staff are inattentive and have an arrogance that does not match their performance. If you dare feel ignored and approach the bar yourself to get a drink you are made to feel very unwelcome. We had one bland meal in the hotel on the first night which was immemorable save for the sharing starter of sardines. This was a 4€ tin with some bread. We were warned of this by the waiter but thought they would do something special. Silly us! We tried to stay in the hotel the next day, but got frustrated with being ignored, a complaint was made to the general manager. This fell on deaf ears and there was no improvement seen. We therefore spent the rest of our time in some of the best bars, beach clubs and restaurants Antibes have to offer. The rooms are OK. But lack simple amenities like tea and coffee facilities and irons etc. The poorly placed TV managed to clip my Husbands head several times when he got up from the desk. The worst thing though are the external metal roller shutters! I can not begin to describe the sound of them rising and falling. And you can hear every one of them when they go off. One morning I was awoken to what I thought was a child badly playing a recorder at the end of my bed, only to realise it was our next door neighbour opening their blind! From about 7am they start playing music in the corridors and the sound proofing of the room is poor. The floor outside the room is also concrete boards - this was a great idea by the architect as they really emphasise the noise of a roller suitcase and if whoever is rolling them walks at the right pace the clacking matches the timing of the music! There were two saving graces for this hotel. The breakfast staff and the spa manger and her partner. Whilst the actual breakfast is average at best, the staff are attentive and unlike anywhere else in the hotel - friendly. We also had one of the best massages we had ever had in our lives. I’ve rambled on for ages. Suffice it to say we won’t be back as I’m sure we will manage to find a far better hotel in Antibes for our next visit.

The location is really nice. Overlooking the sea and a perfect location for sunset watching. The food was disappointing. Truth be told, it was not good. The service was worse. There are many restaurants in Juan les pins/Antibes. I tried this one, and now you don’t have to. Steer away from it. Not worth it.

Whilst much about the hotel is lovely - its decor, beach, restaurant etc - with the exception of breakfast which (as other reviewers have observed) is very sub standard for a luxury hotel such as this, we would not recommend this hotel as its customer service approach falls far below what would be expected for a hotel of this calibre. Some 10 months before our stay we booked three rooms for 3 nights for what we had intended to be a very special family trip. Two were deluxe and we understood they had garden views. The third was a privilege room for which we requested a sea view room. The privilege room we were given had a side aspect with no view of the sea but a rather unattractive boat park (see others reviews for similar comments). We immediately spoke to the hotel manager about our disappointment with the room. We were given inconsistent reasons for why we weren’t allocated a room with a sea view - primarily, it would appear because others had booked before us, which begs the question why we weren’t notified of that when we requested a room with a sea view. The manager said it was too late to do anything that night (albeit 4pm, the earliest check in time) but that he would solve the problem the next day and insisted we shook hands on a ‘gentleman’s agreement’. He passed the matter onto another manager who had not been fully briefed and the next day simply offered us a more expensive room (at our cost) or a deluxe room (with a deduction of less than the rate we were already paying for the other two rooms). Forget the room, the aim was to enjoy our break and we stayed where we were. It was the lack of professional approach to customer service for a hotel that is a Relais & Châteaux that was so disappointing - no recognition of our disappointment or experience, a defensive and challenging “we never confirmed a garden view” opening response, poor handling and follow through of the matter, no real attempt to resolve the situation but instead a rather arrogant attitude that made us feel completely underwhelmed and frankly, spoiled our experience.

Our experience was okay. Some good points and some not so good. The hotel is placed about 10mins outside the main town which is good as it’s far enough away from night time noise and day time construction work going on up the street so you can’t hear it. Normally, when rocking up to a +$1k a night property we’d be greeted by a bellman or someone to help with bags. The duty was left to the taxi driver. Check-in from then on was good and thorough and got a brief tour around the property. Front of house were generally very good. But lacking a doorman to welcome you and help with luggage. It’s a nice property in a good location but it is not a well thought out hotel. For example, it has an open bathroom. A stupid trend created by designers that don’t ever stay in hotel rooms. Imagine the situation. I’m an early riser, my wife isn’t. I get up and take a shower, illuminating the whole bedroom and having no noise barrier so she can hear every drop of water being run from the shower. There is a glass divide between the bath and the main bedroom area. A stupid waste of space that should be dry-walled up, at which point you could move the bed across and add two bedside tables and power sockets to charge your mobile devices that are sadly lacking. Also it echoes. Concrete ceilings don’t work. The “sofa” or whatever it was did’t get used once as it looks more like some leftover outdoor furniture and ended up being a dumping space for bags. Whoever decided to pave outside the room with concrete floorboards didn’t think about a) women walking in heels or b) suitcases rolling across them first thing in the morning and the noise it makes. Put some dry wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Add a proper door between the dressing area space and the bedroom that will stop the sound transfer from outside coming into the bedroom. And put some soft furnishings in there so it doesn’t echo. The beach was compact with chairs but on the whole not too bad as there were dividers up between the next chairs that allowed a small element of privacy. The beach service is mixed, some people working there are excellent. Some not so much. We visited the beach restaurant for lunch on the first day. I had the club sandwich which for +$30 I was expecting something spectacular. It wasn’t. It looked terrible and can only be described as basic. The chefs should be ashamed of themselves. The side salad also went untouched as it was dry with no dressing on it. My wife had the niçoise salad. We both agreed the meal we had in town the day before was much better quality and service for half the price. The pool was meh… been in way better. Too many screaming feral kids in there for my liking. When we needed help booking restaurants the front of house staff were good and helpful and the rooms were cleaned to a good standard each day. There is no lobby area as such, or bar where you can grab an evening drink. Kind of essential one would have put in a luxury hotel. On the whole I’m surprised this hotel made it into the Relais & Chateaux Brand. It’s a good hotel, sure. Just not worthy of the 1,100 a night I’m paying. Would much rather be elsewhere for that price and much rather be paying 400-500 which is what it’s worth. There is absolutely no way I'd return to this property if that helps summarise it.

Small bay beach with pool, highly attentive service.. ideal for parents with kids. Quality of food is excellent. Request ground floor rooms for disability/reduced mobility friendly access to beach/restaurant and pool. There is a lift also. Lifeguard on duty at all times. Overall, highly recommend & we would return here !

We've been fortunate enough to experience many luxury hotels, but this was really special. The location is beautiful - away from the noise and crowds and truly able to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the world. You can relax in your own sun loungers on the private sandy beach (unusual for Cote d'Azur with its rocky beaches). The "sensory pool" is fantastic. The rooms are impeccable, and we were lucky enough to get one with a gorgeous water view. Service was highly attentive but never pretentious. Certainly you pay handsomely for all this, but we really felt like we got great value and would highly recommend it.

I wish I was able to give this place a 10 star review, this place is fantastic. From the moment we checked in I felt how personal and attentive the staff is, they always there when u need something, the place is super clean, perfectly located and has its own private secluded beach which is a big deal for us. Hotel is very small, quite and clean. We already inquired about a possible return for summer 2023!!!!
