This is a pleasant three star hotel located on a quiet side street off the main square. The rooms are nice sized and pleasant but the owners help and advice greatly enhance the experience. Emmanuelle voiced some concern that because of the high rating at Trip Advisor some persons might expect more elaborate facilities--this is an historic building in a...

Fabulous visit for 2 nights in Avignon. The hotel is quite central with easy access to all sights and shops in the city. The pre-visit info was very useful-where to park for example and also recommendations on where to eat after we had arrived. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this to any visitors....

This is a small owner run hotel, and it's clear the owners really care a lot. They are super. We had a small room up a set of steep winding stairs. They did haul our luggage for us.The bathroom had been upgraded, and was very nice. They serve a very nice, but expensive, breakfast with home make pastries and yougert

Well located on a quiet side street. Person at the front desk was very helpful. Provided maps and recommendations for sites/restaurants. Breakfast was somewhat sparse so maybe do your own thing outside the hotel.

Hotel de Garlande is delightful and more so because of cordial owner/hosts Stephan and Emannuelle who gave us important tips including dining recomendations. The eleven rooms are clean and comfortable. Travelling with two friends, my wife and I opted for a second floor room, putting our friends on the ground floor. While the stairs are a bit of a challenge,...

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Garlande - the best location if you want to see the old Avignon, the host is very knowlegeable and offers great advise on what/when to see, and the restaurants that are great and not overly touristy. Also good continental breakfast compared to other places in France.

This is a simple but delightful hotel: the enthusiasm, knowledge and warmth of Stephane and Emanuelle, the proprietors, is apparent everywhere, from the delicious breakfast to the excellent recommendations for restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for them in terms of booking and making enquiries about this and that: their restaurant suggestions of L'Essential, Le Gout du Jour, and Le...

Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Family room was big and comfortable with a nice ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was good and the proprietor very friendly and helpful. She even managed to find a taxi to take us to the TGV station - no mean feat in a town with a taxi shortage.

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Garlande and loved it! We arrived by train at the TGV station, caught the shuttle train to Avignon station, and then walked (via the tourist information office) to our hotel which took about 10 mins. Our room was great, as it had a sitting area separate to the bedroom. The hotel is in a...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The room was nice and had a large fridge that made it possible to keep cold drinks, and also to buy beverages from the minibar. Breakfast was very good, and the best thing about this hotel were the nice people who worked there. They really did what they could to make...
