Nice hotel in a lovely town. Only a quick one night stay. I would say the building is beautiful, my room was ok. I was given the key and walked in closing the door behind me. A quick look around and I could not see any beds. Opened the second door thinking that that would be the way into the... More

Booked my room thru Trip Advisor (Tingo), and took a "Classic Double Room" that promised a "separate sitting area." At check in, the very first question was whether I would like to upgrade to a nicer room. I declined, and was led upstairs to my room .... which turned out to be a bedsitter (one room with a bed that... More

The grande dame of Avignon will not let you down. Immaculate and discreet service in a central but secluded setting. The building oozes history but provides all necessary modern comforts from the moment your car is spirited away and you sit in the cool and elegant courtyard for your first glass of pink wine.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a great location, 10 minutes walking to all the main attractions in Avignon. Our room was very elegant with a view of the Place Crillon - a beautiful square full of small restaurants and boutiques. The marble bathroom was beautiful, very large, with a soaking tub, separate shower and double sinks. The staff was... More

Staff is outstanding here! Rooms are very comfortable and air conditioned, which was a welcome respite given the 95 degree days we had. The restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay, but we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and lunch. Location is excellent and outdoor patio is an unexpected bonus. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Avignon. If you can afford... More

Amazing location - walking distance to important historical attractions, beautifully yet functionally furnished room/s, comfortable bed, and everything around sparkling clean; just a wonderful place to stay in Avignon. We were also pleasantly surprised by a free room upgrade provided to us by very nice staff.

We used this as the base for visiting the small villages and lavender fields of Provence. It worked out perfect because of the nearby train station and location. We also were able to visit Nimes and Pont du Gard which were not that far away. The hotel itself is beautiful with quintessentially French decor. It has a beautiful little courtyard... More

There isn't a nicer hotel in old town Provence . Sensational setting and just stunning finishes to every aspect of the hotel . The interiors are old world luxury and the staff are lovely too . It's not cheap but it's sensational . The food was beautifully presented and the the coffee was actually pretty good for a change
